[ Pathyn's chapter ]

When you begin to read you notice that pathy's full name is Pathyn Fredayskin. He is of the snow elves.
You scroll down a bit with your finger and notice that his profession is a Ranger. You read that he was born
somewhere near Shard. Upon further examinantion you see that his friends and family include his wife
Illanna, best friend Darceon, Vilas, Miabelle, kaylila and a few others.

You start off reading the second page. You discover that a page is missing so this is actually the third page.
You begin to wonder if the second page contained his history. After a second of dissapointment you go on
and finish the page. You see that with him, hunting and exploring are his favorite things to do in Elanthia.

This page is torn on the edges as if someone or something has been chewing on it. With further reading of
this page you find out that he looks up the three aspects of Everild, so himself, kuniyo and Trothfang. He
doesn't consider Everild his god or a god. The next paragraph reads " My weapon of choice is LE but 2HE
is my favorite type of weapon." You ponder on this and decide to read the next and final page.

As you read you find out that he likes to hutn whereever the wind takes him. As you glance to the bottom of
the page in the corner you notice a pouch. You reach inside this little pouch and pull out a paper that reads "
Aol instant messanter screen name: Elven97. Email address: Elven97@yahoo.com." After a moment of
consideration you come to a conclusion that these are means of comunicating with pathyn.

You begin to read and notice an etching to the top right corner of a figure holding a longsword. You
consider that it is Vilas himself. You move one and notice that Vilas's vull name is actually Vilas Tyko. He is
of the humans. When you read more closely you see that he is a Barbarian. You ponder on this as you once
again look at the picture in the right corner of the page. That is why he is holding a longsword you think.

When you start into this page you notice that his best Friends and Family are Pathyn, Dullen, Calumina,
Raien, Philomenta, Blazzon, Kkeno, Zakuclee, Anac and Inigio. You scroll down and see a paragraph with
the wrting " History" above it that is underlined. You begin to read and realize that his history is being told
by him in his own words... "I was born in the wilderness some where outside of crossing. I was just a young
boy when my father decided to go hunting to get us food one day. When he left my mother was just about to
go out and get firewood when we heard it...the sound of footsteps running at a fast rate towards or cottage.
When my mother looked out the window she saw the band of murderers coming. She jumped up with a
shriek and grabbed me. She ran out the back door and put me in a basket and set me in the river praying to
god that i would not sink or tip over. As i floated down the river my mother ran back to the house to defend
it till my father could return. Unfortunatley they had killed him on there way to our house. She fought for
minutes although it seemed like hours. She died with honor defending everything she thought was right.
When someone finally caught me down the river later that day they took me home with them and adobted
me. When i was a young lad of the age of 15 i decided it was time to go out on my own and seek a
profession. I choose to become a warrior...a great fighter and to fight for justice so no other would lose
there family as i did. I have just started my training as a Barbarian a few months ago and have a teacher by
the name of Dullen SlvrArrow. I am currently working towards circle 8."

You notice that the writing on this page is smudged so it is harder to read. YOu squint your eyes and can
barely make it out. You find out that Vilas likes to hunt and to help people in need and make new friends.
His god is Everild, which he prays to every day for guidence. Upon further examination you notice that He
enjoys using ME and LE but he prefers He because of its strength. IT also reads taht his favorite hunting
ground is the shore and mine where the reavers are. You decide to read the next page.

You look on this page but it appears to be blank except for a small pouch in the bottom corner exactly like
the one in pathyn's book. You begin to wonder if all the books have these pouches. You reach in and pull
out the paper that is inside. It reads "Aol instant messanger: VilasTyko. Email address:
Kyp_durron32@yahoo.com." YOu think back to the pouch in pathyn's book and realize that these are also
ways of comunicating but this time with Vilas.
You move on to the next chapter on Raien...
[Raien's chapter]

As you start reading you see a picture this time of a beautiful women raising a person from the dead and you
realize that this must be Raien, for she is a cleric. You notice that her full name is Raien Cinklair. After
further reading you now know that she was born in a small village between Leth and Shard. Among her
friends and family she has written her father, priest Cinklair.

On this page in the book it contains the history of Raien. You begin to read... She came to The Crossing
when she was of the age to join the cleric guild. Her dream is to become a priestess and fullfill her work for
the gods. She will be didicated to the gods and do what she needs to worship them. Upon reading farther
you notice that she likes to visit the temples as one of her favorite things to do.

You read this page with a certain scary understanding. Not knowing why someting possess you and you
take careful note of the name of Raien's god...it tis Faenella. You stare at the name in awe for a moment
then shake the feeling away. You ponder on wether it was the gods telling you to worship and respect
them. YOu scroll farther down and see that she uses and loves the longsword which her father gave forth
unto her. With consideration and understanding you nod your head as you read that she currently hunts
goblins but only for the practice.

As you read this page you stop blankley realizing that there are no words again. You glance to the bottom
corner and confirm your suspicions. All the books have a pouch with the means to contact the people the
book is about. You reach into thepouch and pull out the paper and it reads "Email address:
Allanthia@aol.com. Aol instant messanger: Allanthia." You tuck the information away in your mind and
move on to the next book.

You close the book and set it back onto the shelf.
