1. Counterweaving. Use the rules exactly as they appear on page 206 of Second Edition Changeling, with the following exception: Fae 5 can be substituted for the Realm that was used in the opposed cantrip. I'm fully aware that the description of Fae 5 says that it's required to counter cantrips. For the purposes of this game, only the Realm of the opposed cantrip is necessary, but Fae 5 can be used if you do not have the correct Realm.
2. Nature 1, Raw Material. I know that stone is listed here in parentheses, but it also says that any inorganic matter is excluded. So which is it? As far as I'm concerned, stone falls under "earth", which clearly comes under Nature 5, Base Element. Use Nature 5 to affect earth and stone, and Nature 1 to affect nonliving organic matter.
3. Legerdemain 2, Ensnare. Here's the exception to the rule about not tampering with rules that aren't contradictory. This cantrip says that it does three Health Levels of damage per success when it is used to whap someone with an object that was ensnared by the cantrip. Now be honest. Doesn't that sound a little severe? Damage done in this manner will be three dice of damage per success, instead, that must be rolled separately from the cantrip. That's still way heavy for a level 2 cantrip, but more within the realm of plausibility. Additionally, people seem to think that they should be able to grab living beings with this cantrip and throw them around, slamming them into walls, floors and whatever else has the lack of wisdom or mobility to be in the way. Since this would eliminate the Willpower roll that is normally used to hit someone with an object, or could give the caster two for the price of one if they grab an enemy and slam them into another enemy, I don't think it can be used in this manner. Ensnare, when cast on a living target, will simply ensnare them as described, nothing more. Gimmix can be used on a living target, and Wind Runner can allow a target to fly (though the target remains in control of the flight). So far there isn't a cantrip that allows a full range of telekinetic powers in Changeling, and I rather think that it will be higher than level 2 when and if there is such a thing in the future.
4. Denizens of the Dreaming, The Autumn Way. Well, Chris Howard said in his FAQ to go ahead and cast this as a normal cantrip and ignore the systems given in the cantrip descriptions. I'll leave it up to the player. If you are casting the Autumn Way you may choose to:
A. Use the system given in the book for the cantrip you are casting. Spend the Glamour, but no Bunk will be necessary as the difficulty is predetermined.
B. Cast the cantrip with the usual cantrip casting system, complete with Bunk.
5. I think any other noted contradictions that may affect gameplay (whether or not Inanimae may learn Kithain Arts, etc.) are covered elsewhere in the FAQ. Until I think of something else, have fun!
