Candle Magick

Candle Tips:

Have a problem keeping the appropriate color of candle around for a spell?
Tired of people looking sideways at the fact that you have every candle color
imaginable sitting around the house, in readiness?
Want to hide what you're doing? Here's a clever way:

Buy a couple of boxes of regular household emergency candles
and a variety pack of food coloring and some sea salt
(which you can get at any natural food store nowadays).
When you need a specific candle for a spell,
mix a bit of sea salt in some purified water,
then add whatever food coloring appropriate for the spell you need.
Taking a pin, poke several small holes all over your candle, and dip it into the water.
Your candle will not only pick up some of the color in the small holes,
but it will pick up the vibration of the color, which is the most important thing.

------------------------------------

Any candle, especially protection, that burns high and bright
means that the spell is needed and working immediately!
If they burn slow and low, it usually means that particular spell
isn't needed and may not manifest...

Color & Candle Correspondences

Color results from our interpretation of different kinds and waves of light.
Although there are an infinite number of colors, they can be broken down
into seven secondary colors: red, orange, green, yellow, blue, indigo, and
violet. In turn, these seven colors can be factored down to the three
primary colors -- red, green, and yellow. Combined, the primary colors
(when dealing with light only) factor down to white,
or what we interpret as white. Black, by the way is not really a color,
but the absence of color -- the direct opposite of light.

Light is vibratory. Each color vibrates at a different rate of speed.
For example, red is the fastest vibrating color, and is a stimulatory color
to the human interpretation process. Violet is the lowest vibrating color,
and tends to calm the nervous system. The various vibratory waves of light
can be utilized by the human brain for healing, meditation, and magick.

Using color in your work falls under the heading of practical magick,
as it is the employment of an element -- that of light. It is not immediately
dangerous and you are not dealing with a host of unknown factors.

Each color stands for a particular principle or set of principles and values.
The following list of colors and their related properties
can be used for both color and candle magick.

How Effective is Color Magick? Very!
You can use colors to create the proper environment and bring success,
happiness, wealth, and love into your life. You can use colors in healing
by applying them to particular parts of the body.
The chakras can be opened, balanced, or healed using colors.

VANILLA CANDLE SPELL
Submitted by: Rashley@webtv.net

Hold a vanilla scented candle in both hands
until the wax feels warm to the touch.
Then chant 3 times:

"Vanilla, chase this mess away,
keep it far from me today."

Light the candle and let it burn until anxiety disappears.
