Crystals: may be a selection of your own choice
The crystals that I use: quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, moonstone, malachite
Rose petals

I also take a piece of paper that my husband has written on and write a
short note to him underneath it. You may substitute this for an object
owned by the person you want to protect or you can just write their
name down on a piece of paper.
written on it and place it in front of you. Place the red candle to the
right of the paper, the pink to the left, and the white at the top
creating a triangle around the paper. Place a circle of salt around
the paper and the candles, then light each candle: white first,
pink second, red last. Place the crystals you have selected on top of
the paper in whichever placement you prefer. Then sprinkle the
rosemary and rose petals over top. I then take the red candle and
pour some wax over the sheet while saying a protective prayer,
then I follow with the pink and then the white. Then I conclude with
another protective prayer for my loved one and leave the candles to
burn for approx. five minutes while I pray. Then I blow out the candles
and leave the paper, crystals and candles as they are for one full
hour before cleaning up.
SPELL FOR SAFE TRAVEL
Materials:
Piece of malachite or malachite jewelry
A map showing the route to your destination
Spell:
Invoke Mercury, God of Travel, and Iris, the rainbow-messenger Goddess,
and ask them to guard you as you go. Sing or breathe to raise power
to charge the malachite. Then trace it along the route on the map,
visualizing yourself traveling in comfort and safety. If you intend
to stop along the way, pause there when the stone reaches that spot on
the map. Otherwise, move it in a smooth, uninterrupted line.
Carry the stone with you when you go or place it in the vehicle.
And as you travel, visualize a huge pentagram of white light,
encircled, surrounding the car, plane, train or ship in which you
travel. (If you are driving, be sure your car is checked for safety
before you leave. Get plenty of rest the night before and stop
occasionally along the way to stretch.)
Light a candle & picture good things happening to you and in your life,
let the flame bring the goodness to you, think all the bad away
& make it go outside of the flame so it is not near you. Feel better.
GINGER RITE
Leah
This spell is to keep your journeys smooth and free from mishap.
You will need:
A root of ginger in the form of a human (or as close as possible)
you can trim it and carve on it to make it more realistic
3 yellow ribbons
A small wooden box
This is a protection spell best performed on a Thursday.
Decorate the figure with the yellow ribbons tied in 3 separate places,
but not around the neck part, use places like the wrists, legs, middle...
As you tie a knot in each ribbon wish for positive luck and chant the following:
"In all the journeys of my life,
protect and keep me safe from strife."
Place the figure in the wooden box, seal the lid, and keep it in a
safe, dry place. Make contact with the figure before each major
journey, and repeat the rite completely every 6 months.

1 part comfrey
1 part caraway
1 small quartz crystal point

BLESSING OF A TRAVELLER
Preparation:
The chalice should be filled with wine, anointing oil is needed.
The person being blessed stands in front of the altar with their back to it.
They cross their wrists while holding them close to their breast.
The Priest(ess) stands in front of them and says:
"Artemis, queen of night
In all your beauty bright,
Shine on us here,
And with your silver beam
Unlock the gates of dream;
Rise bright and clear.
On Earth and sky and sea,
Your magic mystery
Its spell shall cast,
Wherever leaf may grow,
Wherever tide may flow,
Till all be past.
O secret queen of power,
At this enchanted hour
We ask your boon.
May fortune's favor
fall Upon true witches all,
O Lady Moon!"
The Priest(ess) kneels before her and gives her the Five-Fold Kiss:
that is, s/he kisses her on both feet, both knees, womb or phallus,
both breasts, and the lips, starting with the right of each pair.
S/He says, as s/he does this:
"Blessed be thy feet, that have brought thee in these ways.
Blessed be thy knees, that shall kneel at the sacred altar.
Blessed be thy sex, without which we would not be.
Blessed be thy breasts, formed in strength and in beauty.
Blessed be thy lips, that shall utter the Sacred Names."
For the kiss on the lips, they embrace length to length,
with their feet touching each other's. When the priest(ess) reaches
the womb, the recipient spreads her arms wide and the same after
the kiss on the lips. Then the Priest(ess) touches her with his right
forefinger on her right breast, left breast, and womb, repeats the set
and finally the right breast. The Priest(ess) steps backwards.
The Priest(ess) then makes an X mark on the initiates forehead,
breast and genitals while saying:
"May your mind be free.
May your heart be free.
May your body be free."
The Priest(ess) holds the chalice close to their heart and feeds
power into the wine. When they can feel it glow, it is ready. S/He says:
"All life is your own,
All fruits of the Earth Are fruits of your womb,
Your union, your dance. Lady and Lord,
We thank you for blessings and abundance.
Join with us, Feast with us, Enjoy with us!
Blessed Be."
The Priest(ess) and the person share the wine. The priest(ess)says:
"Artemis, protector of youths,
Look down upon this person, Protect them and help them.
Athena, grey eyed goddess of wisdom,
Give this person the understanding to choose the right course.
Manannan and Poseidon, keepers and watchers of deep waters,
Grant fair winds, and following seas as they travel through your domains.
Mercury, god of travelers,
Protect this person from those who would beset them.
The Priest(ess) says:
"When you are frightened, remember this chant:
"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn my inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."
"Blessed Be"
Final kiss on the forehead.
