DRIVING EVIL AWAY SPELL

Demons and evil spirits could be forced to leave a person alone
if the following spell was written on parchment or paper
which was to be kept close at hand at all times.

BLOOD ROOT SPELL

Carried on the person in pocket or purse as a protection against evil spells.
Also placed near doorways and windowsills to protect the home from hexes.
Was used to throw a hex back by casting broken bits of the root
onto the doorsteps of the alleged witch's dwelling.

CLOVES SPELL

Fill two small charm bags with cloves and tie them on a chain or a thong
to wear from the neck. Give one to a friend and wear one yourself.
As long as you both wear them, your friendship will endure..

WAR WATER

Place about 3/4 pound of cut iron nails into a large ( 2 quart ) jar.
"cut nails" are the old fashoned nails that have a rectangular cross section.
They are still available from hardware stores as they are used as masonary nails.
We use cut nails because they have a rough finish, and will rust easily.
Add a half a pint of drinkable tap water.
Allow this to stand for eight to ten days until the nails begin to rust.
Once the rusting process has begun, add a quart of tap water.
You can store the bottle in the refigerator,
or leave in a cool, dry place in your home.
The bottle must be opened occasionally to allow enough air to enter to continue the rusting process.. Once the water has a definite tinge of rust,
usually about a week to ten days after you have added the quart of water,
it is ready to use. Should you find any trace of mold or bacteria on the water,
you should discard the water, the bottle and the nails.
To use the water, remove about two ounces of the rusty water from the bottle at a time. Add fresh tap water as water is removed and you will have an almost continuous supply of war water. As this water is not often used, even in the midst of a Psychic war, it is not necessary to concern yourself about running out once you have made some. A little war water goes a long way...

TO BREAK A SPELL

On the first saturday after the full moon or on a full moon,
light one white and one black candle for balance.
Using an amythyst, an apache tear, or smoky quartz stone for protection (holding the stone) say:

"On the eve of (state date and time of spell if known),
I cast a spell and the effect I created I must now quell.
Specifically (state effects of spell).
May this spell be lifted and I now be gifted
specifically with (state desire).
So mote it be!"

A WITCH LAMENTS

Remorse for evil one has done, can dampen life and bring no fun.

On Sol's bright morn 'ere the noontide comes,
and an evil deed with remorsefulness numbs,
Take parchment and dove's blood (ink) and let your hand scribe,
these words of undoing that I prescribe.

BY SOME LOWER SELF POSSESSED,
AND IN AN INSTANT MUCH DISTRESSED,
MY HAND HAS ERRED, BUT NOT MY HEART.
SO NOW THE DARK ONE MUST DEPART!
THE DEED IS DONE....NOR WOULD I DO IT.

Light a candle of gold or yellow,
and fume with Frankincense and Myrrh to make all mellow.
Set the paper to burn from the candle's flame,
as you invoke Sol's harmonious name.
Place it in a bowl of brass
to burn and smoke and change it's mass.
Take up the blackened and charred trashes,
and rub your hands with soot and ashes.
Now cleans the hands with water and soap,
and dry them against the flame for new hope.
saying thrice, to be precise:
"MY PAST IS CLEANSED, MY FUTURE BLESSED.
NO MORE MY SLEEP SHALL BRING UNREST."
If, after that, your conscience pangs you, hie hence to a nunnery!

A "KITCHEN WITCH" REVERSING SPELL

You want to get three red candles, and (if possible) 1 black candle.
(if you can't get a black candle without raising eyebrows,
go ahead and get a brand new black permanent marker.
Do not use this marker for anything else but this type of spell if you can help it) Also.. if you have access to any essential oils, get some rue oil or get hold of some bulk rue... and a small bottle of olive oil.

A small candle holder and a clean piece of paper and a red pen
to write with are the next things. (again, a new pen if possible,
saving it for this type of spell. A good thing to do is to get a variety
of colored pens to save for doing specific spells)

Melt the black wax of the candle in a double boiler and dip the lower half
of the red candles in it.. making the black wax coat the bottom half.
Or, cover the lower half of the red candles with the black magic marker.
On a night where you can block everyone out for a while, take a bath with either sea salt or regular salt (1 tsp is enough) and a bit of rue oil or rue (cut or ground, doesn't matter).
Do not towel dry yourself.. go ahead and air dry.
(You can wear whatever you normally wear to do spells, but you definitely want to air dry.) Then, get out the rue oil or, in a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of ground or cut rue and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil. Coat one candle with the oil or oil herb mixture, anointing from the middle out, going counter clockwise. Do the bottom half first, then the top. You'll be doing this spell over three consecutive nights, so save the rest of the candles and the oil in a safe place.

On the piece of paper, write down what you'd like to to see reversed from you; i.e. bad luck in love, financial problems, inability to find what you need in your life, etc. Get thoughtful.. make sure it's something you really want to send away. Place the piece of paper under the candle holder (it would probably be smart to put this in a pie plate or some other fireproof container), charge the candle with your desire to see these things or trends gone, and light the candle, using a lighter only (no matches).
Do this for the next two nights, and once you're done, burn the piece of paper, seeing your life as if a weight lifted from it.
And if there's any leftover wax, collect it in a brown paper bag and bury that someplace far from you,
or throw in a trash can across town!
Then forget about it.. don't worry over it, just know it worked.

You can do this whenever you feel the things in your life are not going the direction you'd wish, and different candle colors can be used for specific reversals. This is for general, overall reversals.
