TO BREAK A JINX

Fill your bath at night and open the window sp that the moon's rays will come in and fall on you while you bathe. Put Myrtle leaves, Elderberries, Genitian, and Orange flowers into the bath. Wash yourself completely in the solution, and say the following out loud:

"Oh as I declare,
Cleaning and despair,
I call on you, Oh Goddess of the moon,
Clean me and remove all despair,
As I worship you."

Do this at least three nights in a row, and all jinxes or hexes will be removed. To make it stronger, as you dry yourself off with a fresh towel, stand in the moon's rays and repeat this chant:
"If you believe it, it shall be."

PRAYER FOR PROTECTION

"I dwell in the bright divine light,
all goodness is attracted to me for my highest good.
I am attuned with divine love and divine goodness,
I give thanks for the divine light."

TO COMBAT ABUSE (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL)

You will need the following ingredients:
purple candle
vegetable oil
rue
clove
cinnamon
bay leaf
basil
3 inches red ribbon or yarn
3 inches white ribbon or yarn
3 inches black ribbon or yarn
cloth pouch

Inscribe the candle with the petitioner's name and birthdate, then anoint it with vegetable oil. Roll the candle in a mixture of powdered rue,clove,cinnamon,bayleaf,and basil, while chanting:

Herbs here mix and mingle well,
And add your power to this spell.

Put the candle in a holder and place it on the altar. Gather the ribbons together and tie a knot at one end. Braid them together while chanting:

Maiden,Mother,Crone--All Three

Tie a knot in the loose ends so the braid doesn't unravel, then tie both ends together to form a ring. Place it around the candle to form a circle . Sprinkle the remaining herbs around the braid , and visualize the circle growing stronger and stronger until it forms an impassable wall of protection.
Then light the candle and say:

From hurts and bruises (name of petitioner) is free,
As I Will, So Mote It Be

After the candle burns all the way down, gather the braid, herbs, and candle drippings, if any,into a cloth pouch. Give them to the petitioner, to either keep on their person, or put in a safe place where it will not be found by the abusive person, this is an additional protective measure.

Rub an arrowhead with lavender, or oil of lavender, and carry it on your person to protect yourself from abusive situations, lavender's scent will also keep you calm in mind & spirit.

PURIFICATION SPELL

Use this spell to purify yourself from negative energy
or if you've done something to cause negatives that you want to be purified of.

1. Light a white candle.
2. Light incense (sandalwood or sage preferably)
3. Begin this chant/saying:

"O gracious Goddess and God,
Relieve me of negatives,
Clean my body of evil,
and make me pure once again."

4. Keep chanting until you feel "purified".

SEPARATING YOURSELF FROM A PROBLEM OR PERSON:

Small issues can be handled in a magick circle, whereas larger issues may need a full ritual.
Think carefully which is best for the situation.

You will need:
two black candles
a long black ribbon
black gloves
scissors
the cauldron containing small amount of alcohol
a silver bell

Cleanse and consecrate all items.
Dress the candles to send negativity away from you, then light them.
Hold each end of the ribbon and name the ends.
Pass the silver bell over the altar several times,
until you feel you are in tune with the Universal energies of love and peace.
Anger is not a luxury afforded to you in the situation.
Put on the black gloves and say:

I call upon the energies of Universal balance
I call upon the ancient energies of my people
I call upon the living essence of the Morrigan
Underworld and heaven
Land and sea
I waken these energies unto me.
Witness now that I renounce and sever
Break bonds and connections with ______
By all powers that are One Power
May the great sisters of karma now weave anew
And separate me from you
As I will, so mote it be!

Cut the ribbon.
It is so.
Light the cauldron.
Burn both pieces of ribbon.
