Medals
Medals may be issued by the Prince and Princess to members who excel at the qualities specified. Medals are a way for members to receive recognition for their efforts and achievements. Other members may feel free to suggest to their Baron or Baroness those that they feel are deserving of such recognition.
Medals and Ribbons
The Medal of Honor is awarded to those who bring respect or fame upon themselves or the guild. It is a medal of distinction, and not easily earned.
The Medal of Valor is achieved by personal bravery or heroism; being wounded in defense of another constitutes valor.
The Friendship Medal is awarded to those who show outstanding kindness to others.
The Outstanding Service Medal is awarded only to those members who go above and beyond what is expected of them as a Dragon Knight. They show a deep commitment to the guild and are very actively involved.
To receive the Distinguished Member Medal, a Dragon Knight must go out of their way to assist other members of the guild with no thought of profit or personal gain.
The Medal of Charity is for those members who unselfishly give of themselves to other guild members or Realm citizens.
The Medal of Chivalry is awarded to those who show great honor, courtesy and generosity. A chivalrous knight is markedly courteous to women.
The Creativity Medal is given when a member comes up with unique or innovative ideas to increase morale of the guild.
These medals are for Royal Guard members.
The Founding Member Medal is for those who started the Kingdom of the Dragon Knights of Light.
