For Centuries now, the forces of good and evil have battled over the land of Tristram. Endless battles raged over the land even to this day. However, the balance of power never seems to sway to one side or another for long. As one side grows in strength, the other finds a way to beat their rivals back. Then, that force musters its power and continues to force its way into the other's domain until they, too, are forced out and beaten back. This game of mortal chess lead to the creation of a vial daemon known to the world as Diablo. In this struggle, a small group of valiant warriors rose to the side of good, lead by a spirited young warrior known to the world as Dragon Wyrm. The valiant warriors dedicated their time and resources to protect the innocent and defend that which is right. Later, the members of this group formed a guild and named it after its founder. Thus, the DRAGON WYRM GUILD was born. Then, the forces of evil spread to the realm of Sorsaria and with it, Solarus, 2nd in command of Dragon Wyrm Guild, and his allies took up chase to defend all that is good in this new realm.
However, the rise of Mondain and his Gem of Immortality caused great harm and dispare to the guild. From origins unknown to anyone, a stranger arrived and dispatched Mondain and shattered the gem. As the shards of crystalline fragments lay on the ground, the realm of Sorsaria lay fragmented across the galaxies of time and space. Seeing the weakness of the Britanian Shards, Solarus selected his finest men and instructed them to defend the shards and protect the virtues and what they stand for. Thus, Dragon Wyrm split into shard guilds under one confederation... and now, you are apart of one of these very shard guilds in the Dragon Wyrm Confederation.
Now, DWG continues to aid those in need through out the shards of Sorsaria. The leaders of the shards collectively work together to aid the realms of Britannia with under the ideals of the original Dragon Wyrm Guild. Lord Solarus lead the original Sosarian guild on the Shard of Catskills through many hardships and conflicts. His second and son, Prince Dalimar, acted in his name and carried out many of the tasks of Solarus before Solarus had even given the order. Dalimar also lead the way in diplomatic relations. However, he was not the only one. An alliance was formed with a neighboring guild in Britain, The Fellowship, with the aid of Sceptre, Solarus's younger son. However, several months after this bond, The Fellowship fought and lost against its very own corruption. Thus, it split in to 3 separate factions. But the end was inevitable and all of the Fellowship fragment guilds eventually collapsed.
Before DWG was left alone, however, Solarus located a new friendly guild with the help of a guild member known as Roderick. This new found friend lived on a distance island known to the world of Britannia as Serpents Hold. This friendship soon lead to the alliance of Dragon Wyrm Guild and the Order of the Silver Serpent. However, this alliance was unstable and it was through actions of Dalimar and Roderick that the OSS and DWG alliance solidified to a lasting relationship. This new alliance also set the foundations for DWG to become friends with another guild in which Dalimar once again stepped in and solidified it. Thus, The Guardians of Light joined the list of those in which Dragon Wyrm could call allies.
Dalimar was not the only one aiding the guild. During the youth of the guild, another young couple saw prospect in the guild and joined its cause. Yon and Misha soon proved their worth by working hard and helping the guild to substantiate itself in a world of chaos. Misha was soon promoted to the Guild Tailor. Yon changed his name McTish and continued to help the Guild. He soon was promoted to the rank of High Mage for his excellent arcane skills and magnificent loyalty to the guild of DWG. They continued to donate to the guild and the guild did prosper because of them. Until the day they were forced to leave to salve issues of another realm. Before they left, they donated all their belongings, including the very building we call the Barracks. Later they returned and where welcomed with open arms back to the guild. They continue to donate and aid the world of Britannia with the same spirit as before.
When these two left, two more very spirited members soon aspired to take their place. Both of these men where Knighted Solarus and Dalimar. However, both of these men have much brighter futures. Montoo soon rose to the rank of Captain of the Guard by his skills as a warrior and his loyalty to the guild. He led the guild in magnificent journeys around the land of Britannia. Unfortunately, events happened that force Montoo to leave the guild. Even though he was no longer a member, he continued to aid the guild in his absents. Also, a man known as Curly soon rose in the wisdom of the arcane arts and was soon promoted to the rank of Battle Mage as a reward for his loyalty as well. Curly also was put in charge of the newly found DWA, Dragon Wyrm Army. Its job was to protect the interests of the guild and up hold the virtues that DWG holds dear. But, it did not replace the responsibility of its members...
Curly would soon meet an individual and become good friends with her. She would enter the guild under some... interesting circumstances. A thief had entered her house and stole all of her wood that she used for the fletching of bows. This was her only source of income at the time. She came to the guild with Curly and asked that they help if possible. Lysandra didn't get her wood back, but she did gain a great deal of respect from the members of the guild. She would later be responsible for the creation of a new title… Diplomat. She served, as Dalimar's assistant, for long time until she found herself adopted by Solarus. The Crowned Princess would prove herself worthy of this title. She would prove to be a good leader and was very open with the members of the guild, help when ever possible.
Sceptre soon left the shard of Catskills after the fall of The Fellowship and brought the aid of DWG to the shard of Baja soon. His guild started to grow and follow the ideals of the original shard, and continues to do so to this day. Though small, this guild was still able to take root quickly and grow in numbers and strength and soon found allies near. Kail, Sceptre's second in command and good friend and advisor, devoted much of his time making money for the guild and other guild activities with the limited resources provided to him. After much work and dedication by both individuals, the guild grew to a decent size and was able to continue with out continual outside support.
Dragon Wyrm, leader of the old Diablo DW, soon left his the realm of Tristram and moved to the shard of Sonoma. However, events lead to his disappearance for a short time and his second was unable to take control of the guild for him. So a man by the name of Blastit took over the guild and controlled it with grace and skill for many months; however, a personal conflict rose in the guild and he was forced resign as guild master. Seeing the problems in DWG Sonoma, the Dragon Wyrm Confederation sent Dalimar of Catskills to the land of Sonoma to aid in the resurrection of this shard guild. He had done this perfectly. He selected a new leader, a young, eager to help man by the name of Oz. He also set up a Dragon Wyrm Army on the failing shard. However, all his hard work would be of no avail when Lord British issued new laws about house ownership and construction. Dragon Wyrm Sonoma soon found that its guild house and tower were both taken from them and most of its guild inventory and treasury was decimated. Seeing this, the members of the shard left the guild in search of their own lives. Yet, Dalimar returned again and with the return of Dragon Wyrm, who was now known as Keeper, he moved the guild to a new location and aided in the building of a new guild house. Thus, Sonoma was reborn.
Some time later, a youthful and spirited lady came to the guild of Dragon Wyrm and offered her services to the guild. She donated heavily and fought side by side in the wars with Dragon Wyrm's enemies. Because of her loyalty and dedication, she was quickly promoted in the ranks. But her greatest feat, was the bond she solidified between Dragon Wyrm and The Village of Virtue. The lady Tempest had done all this in name of Dragon Wyrm and because of this, was promoted to the rank of Guild Diplomat...
Now we wait for the future to tell more...

As members of the DragonWyrm Confederation, it is our abligation to uphold that which is good and true and vanquish all the is dark and evil. We must aid our fellow guild members and help each other in our fight for personal purity and security. And as members of the DragonWyrm Shard, Catskills, we must protect and abide by the codes and bilaws established under its federation.
