Fanatics are determined to fulfill one goal or set of goals no matter what it takes. Some change these goals as often as they change their clothes, others have lifelong dedication. Self fulfillment through completion will bring truth to our reality. You must find something to base all of your life efforts on. It is all that matters.

Fanatics, like religions, are absolutionists. There is only one right way to go about solving a problem, and all Fanatics are sure that they have found it. Fanatics need to have answers and solutions for all questions at any given time, and only religion is able to fulfill this. For this reason, many Fanatics find it better to ally themselves with beliefs of the divine.

All aspects of life are extreme for a Fanatic. Like Achilles in the Iliad, every action that a Fanatic takes must be excessive in some way. Be it an emotion, such as anger and sadness, or an obsession such as revenge or possession. Whatever extreme it may be, a Fanatic has been given the gift, or curse, of exceeding the limits of normal behavior.

During creation, Fanatic characters must pick one moral priority which stands aside from all others, even above the number one priority. This priority must then be narrowed down to a specific goal or set of goals that the character has. To accomplish this goal, Fanatic characters will do everything in their power, including breaking all other moral priorities that get in the way. But, this obsession is not a moral priority itself, so the Fanatic will not gain experience for fulfilling it. Strangely enough, this curse just so happens to be a blessing, for all Fanatic characters can never be persuaded to break this priority. Even the mind controlling powers of Mentalists will not work on them. But, in their madness they blindly seek for fulfillment, using every once of ability that they can. Whether this compulsion leads the character to his or her demise is determined solely by the circumstance.

"What do you mean you don't care?! You have to care! It means everything..."
