Mekton House Rules
When constructing these mecha, and any others I may care to post to this page, were built using a number of house rules. So you don't all go "uh? How'd that happen?", I've put them up here for reference.

Engines
First up: I didn't agree with a lot of RTG's engine rules. +33% MP is not a good trade off for a 400% increase in the chance of it exploding, especially if the cost is still the same. I decided to make Hot engines cheaper, while giving both hot and cool engines the MP bonus.
Also, I misinterpetated the cost ajustment for the engine's power source. I actually feel that the cost modification for engine type would be better applied to the engine's cost, rather than the whole mecha. -x.33 is not a fair costing for something that will have little or no affect on gameplay!
The following table gives the reworked costs. The "hot" cost is in brackets
Charge Source | Combustion | Power cell | Fusion | Bio-energy | MP |
Under Charged | -x.2 (-x.3) | -x.17 (-x.27) | -x.15 (-x.25) | -x.1 (-x.2) | -1 |
Standard Charge | x.0 (-x.1) | x.0 (-x.1) | x.0 (-x.1) | x.0 (-x.1) | +0 |
Over Charged | x.1 (x.0) | x.13 (x.03) | x.15 (x.05) | x.23 (x.13) | +33% |
Super Charged | x.2 (x.1) | x.26 (x.16) | x.3 (x.2) | x.45 (x.35) | +67% |
Fuel
I chose not to use The Mekton Fuel rules for a number of reasons. Firstly, i don't like them. More importaintly was mecha design concept. Most of these mecha and vehicles fly by "Fusion Turbines" (quoting M:PM et all), and thus their atmospheric endurance is only limited by their reactor or powercell lifespan (Hours to months), pilot endurance or mechanical failiure. If you must use the fuel ruels, then you can recaluclate the costs.
Hardpoints
This is a reprinting of an optional rule in Starblade Battlion Mekton, here for those who don't have it (and very smart people you are too!). Hardpoints are external attachment points for weapons and equipment. They are built as Weapon Mounts with the Quick-Change Mount option, costing 3 CPs and taking up 2 Spaces. Rather than building them with attached weapons, the designer builds a number of standard weapon or equipment options that can be used on the hardpoints. Hardpoint weapons have a B-Mod equal to their kills divided by 20.
Boosted Leg Servos
I got this from someone on the original Mekton Net Mecha Book. I forget who you are, but thanks. This optional system was used to increase running performances of mecha, and was very useful in the construction of the Battle Pods.
Speed Bonus | Weight | Cost | Spaces/Leg | Weight | Cost | Spaces/Leg |
+50% | 0-50 tons | x.2 | 1 | 50+ tons | x.3 | 2 |
+100% | 0-50 tons | x.3 | 2 | 50+ tons | x.4 | 3 |
Scaling
A little while back, RTG published a set of rules that completely changed and (in my opinion) screwed 1/5th scale mecha big-time. I have chosen not to use there rules. Besides which, they have been proven not to work. I Megazone 23-II a Garland has it's sensors shot out with a Submachine Gun (2D6 damage according to RTG- far less than the "1 kill" required to damage a roadstriker according to RTG.
