The Star Angels' greatest advantage over their enemies is the great technology at their fingertips, in the form of the compact and deadly hardsuits as well as the transforming motorslaves. Each hardsuit is designed for each individual pilot, and Carlisle plans to upgrade the Star Angels' equipment every year.

The Cheetah hardsuit was designed to fill the close assault role, and is piloted by Freya Stryker.

The Plasma Bomber is an experimental punching weapon that generates a field of superheated plasma around the hardsuit's battleglove. It can only stay active for ten phases (30 seconds), but recharges at the rate of one phase recharged per phase inactive. It can vent all its energy into a single hyperpowerful attack, but this drains it of all power and renders it useless. During the Star Angels second battle, it showed a number of problems which have since been fixed.

Using his minor fusion ability, Adam can combine the suit's computer with his own inbuilt cybercomputer; the result is a single mentally-controlled (+2 skill) power 6 computer.

When Carla Harwood turned down Carlisle's offer to be a fully-fledged member of the Star Angels, Carlisle crafted the Jackal hardsuit for her, and asked her to test out its systems and weapons. The forearm mounting was made modular so that as Carlisle developed new weapons systems, the Jackal could be used to test them.

Campaign update: The Jackal has now been reassigned to Nicosia Winters' use, after Carla's injury. It is underghoing a few small modifications to upgrade it to a full-combat use hardsuit.

The Tempest is the Star Angels' premier motorslave, deployed mainly to fight high-grade military equipment such as battlemovers and battle boomers. Its high maneuvrability, compared to its expected opponents, made the heavy-hitting assault cannon a viable weapon despite its poor accuracy.
