Rules

These are the rules and regulations that all members of the Dragon Knights of Light (DKoL) are expected to follow.

At the time of this writing, the DKoL are accepting applications from all classes of characters. However, all applicants and members must be aware that this is an honorable and noble guild, and as such, does not tolerate any deceitful or contemptible behavior. This is a fellowship, and everyone is expected to act accordingly. Stealing and scamming are the acts of a dishonorable person and have no place in our Kingdom. Any member who brings disgrace upon the guild will be subjected to a hearing by the Royal House and Round Table (Henceforth referred to as the Royal Court). If the member is unable to defend his or her actions to the satisfaction of the Royal Court, their membership in the DKoL will be revoked.

Those who are interested in joining the DKoL must maintain membership in ONE guild only. We do not allow dual membership, as this causes division of loyalties. We do allow our members to have two (2) characters in the guild concurrently; however, only one may hold a Royal Court position.

The DKoL believe in the right of their members to defend themselves, their property, and their friends to the best of thier ability. Members may call upon the Royal Guard when in need of mediation or defense from jumping or harrassment - BUT - this does in no way condone the forming of a large hunting party or lynch mob.

Participation in the guild is important. Members who are absent from guild functions or the guild channel for more than two (2) weeks without informing their Baron/Baroness will be listed as inactive. If after another two weeks the member is not heard from, they will be removed from the guild roster.

Members are encouraged to submit through their Chain of Command any suggestions or ideas they may have to help with the running or morale of the guild. This includes ideas for guild functions (parties, scavenger hunts, trivia games, etc.). Once a month, members in the legions will be asked to come up with an activity for the guild to participate in, so feel free to be creative!

The Chain of Command (CoC) is crucial to the DKoL, and members are obliged to use it at ALL times. If a condition arises or you have a suggestion to make, go to the first step in your CoC. If that person is not available, or the situation is pressing, you are expected to go to the second step. This system is to be followed until the situation is dealt with. If it can wait for email or magic mail, then by all means wait. If it is just a question that you need answered try asking on channel first.

These rules are constantly being updated or added to, so please come back frequently to reread them.
