Andy Barclay: A Good Guy obsessed little boy with the voice of an eight-year-old girl and a stupid haircut. All he wants for his birthday is a popular Good Guy doll. He gets just wants he wants, not knowing it is filled with the soul of the nortorious Lakeshore strangler, Charles Lee Ray. Andy soon learns Chucky's true identity and only he knows that Chucky is alive. However, he doesn't realize that Chucky is responsible for the murders that follow.

Karen Barclay: Karen is Andy's mother who will get him anything. Too bad she doesn't give him a slap in the face. But, anyway, she thinks that Andy is taking everything too far when he says that his birthday doll is responsible for everything (when, in fact, this is true). Karen finds out that Chucky is alive when she finds no batteries inside him. Then she gets bitten like the useless idiot she is.

Detective Norris: Dude, this guy was from The Princess Bride! He played Humperdink - awesome! This skeptist cop doesn't believe Andy or Karen when they tell him about what's happening in their town, but he learns the hard way when the killer doll attacks and tries to strangle him. Detective Norris is actually the one who mortally wounded Charles Lee Ray, causing him to pass his soul into a doll before he dies.

Maggie Peterson: Karen's co-worker, Andy's babysitter, and Chucky's first victim. Maggie is a very nice woman, but a little lonely for dick. While babysitting Andy, 'cause she's got nothing better to do, she gets hit in the face with a hammer and thrown out the window just because she turned off Chucky's 9:00 news. Maggie told Karen that a peddler out back had a Good Guy doll, forcing Karen to go out and get it. Thus, it is all Maggie's fault that the shit hits the fan. She got what she deserved.
