Iggy’s Go to Your Room Streak

One day Iggy woke up to Chance’s big wet tongue. As soon as his eyes opened, Jazzer ‘rolled’ in, with Frisky following behind.

"All right, already!" yelled Iggy. "I get the point!" As Iggy picked out the shell for the day, Jazzer rolled around showing off his tricks to Frisky, his sister.

"Pretty impressive," said Frisky.

"Thanks," said Jazzer.

"Okay, kittens," said Iggy. "It’s time to go to breakfast."

When they got downstairs, everyone was eating breakfast already. When Iggy finished his breakfast, he went into the Koopa Gym to exercise on the treadmill. Suddenly Iggy heard Larry yelling, "They’re gone! All gone!"

Iggy hopped off the treadmill and hurried to Larry’s room to see what had happened. When Iggy got to Larry’s room, he saw all of Larry’s plants missing.

"What happened, Larry?" asked Iggy.

"Someone stole my plants and left this note."

Iggy took the note and looked it over. The note had been computer typed and said:

"If you want your plants back, you’ll have to give me a thousand chocolate bars and duel me."

"Hmm," said Iggy. "This could only be the work of Ludwig. I’ll go straighten him out."

"Can I come too?" asked Larry. "After all, they’re my plants."

"Sure," said Iggy. "What’s an extra hand?"

Iggy and Larry went on their way to Ludwig’s room. They found Ludwig in his room finishing cutting a rope.

"What do you want?" asked Ludwig.

"We want Larry’s plants back," said Iggy.

"I haven’t seen them today," said Ludwig. "And I won’t see you anymore today either."

Just then, Lemmy came rolling by in the hallway, humming a tune to himself. As he passed Ludwig’s door, he saw the danger. He hopped off his ball and used it as if it were a bowling ball. It stopped rolling in Ludwig’s path, and he tripped over it. Iggy and Larry jumped on top of him to pin him down.

Larry said, "Quick, Lemmy! Fly up to that little piece of rope and pull with all your strength! I think my plants are up there!"

"Will do!" said Lemmy, flying off with his magic. Robotic arms swooped down from the opening made when Lemmy pulled on the little piece of rope. One by one, they brought all of Larry’s plants down.

"Thanks guys," said Larry. "I would have never been able to get my plants back without your help."

Then, Ludwig threw off Iggy and Larry, who had been pinning him down the whole time. Ludwig ran out the door, but accidentally ran full charge into Bowser.

"What’s going on?" growled Bowser angrily.

"Well," said Iggy. "Ludwig stole Larry’s plants. So me and Larry came here to get them back. Then Ludwig charged us. But he tripped over Lemmy’s ball. So Larry and me pinned him down. And then Lemmy pulled that little piece of rope up there. And then a trap door opened and robotic arms brought Larry’s plants down one by one."

"Hmm," said Bowser. "I think that you told the truth. Iggy, Larry, go to your room!"

"What about me " asked Lemmy.

"I’m sorry Lemmy" said Bowser "I guess I didn’t see you. You can go to your room to."
