Weren Name Generator

This generator is useful for generating weren names.
The procedure is simple: pick a name segment from each column,
and put all them together. Voila! An authentic weren name! It is also
possible to roll for the first two columns, but the third has to be
picked, as it indicates something specefic to the weren. The second column
is optional, and can be left out.

More Tips on Weren Names

A traditional weren's name will change with his identity. Column C indicates a few
sample suffixes which indicate to others what the weren identifies with. Weren who
prefer privacy, or don't want to be known by any of those suffixes usually
choose a male or female ending. It is very insulting to be called by the opposite
gender suffix.
All weren in the same family share the first part. If a male has the "Hag-" stem,
his wife and children will all share the "Hag-" stem.
A weren sometimes chooses to be named by his accomplishments instead of by his real
name. For example, A weren who is handy with a musket may choose to be called "Sathbaq"
meaning 'fast gun'. Noble weren may also be insulted if they aren't adressed as "Zhaasuu"
which roughly means 'sir'.
The tables above create traditional weren names. There is no dishonor in choosing
a name for a child that does not follow these guidelines. There are places on Kurg
where having a non-traditional name is fronwed upon, but these traditionalists are
now are and scattered.
