In Order Of Appearance

The story evolves around Ryu. Part of a powerful dragon clan, called the Brood, feared for their power, which could be the very key to the destruction of the world, which God tried to destroy in order to protect her world. God ordered their clan killed, but the Brood did not fight back because they knew it was too dangerous. The whole clan was destroyed, except for a few refugees. The Brood, much feared, had to hide in a forsaken place, isolated. There was a legend among the clan, that a dragon prince will come and kill God, so that the Brood would be free to roam the world. Upon entering their town, Ryu was said to be this prince.

Like Ryu, he possesses an uncontrollable power. He is a were tiger. His first appearance in the game is when he saves baby Ryu from a pack of vicious tigers. He decides to adopt Ryu as his brother, like he did to Teepo. He and his family of thieves got into trouble and was attacked by Balio and Sunder. He falls unconscious and was separated from Ryu and Teepo, thinking they were killed. He seeks vengeance. He uses his power to release his rage. He is reunited with Ryu when he attacks him as a tiger. He helps Ryu and grieves for Teepo.

He was orphaned by Rei along with Ryu. Together they stole food, money, and things for survival. Upon one of these acts, they got into trouble and were attacked by Balio and Sunder. Waking from consciousness, he finds Rei and Ryu gone. He falls to the river and gets a glance at his reflection. He turned into a dragon . He was found by the goddess, Myria, and tells him about the Brood and about his powers. She convinces him that his powers are too dangerous and he decides to give up his powers and live in an artificial room, decorated with birds and nature. He later confronts Ryu, trying to convince him to give up his powers but Ryu refuses and is challenged to a fight to the death.

The Princess of Wyndia. Ryu helps Nina escape from Balio and Sunder and she helps him try to find Rei and Teepo. She eventually gets feelings for Ryu. She believes that Ryu isn't evil and stays with him to the end.

A maniac for machines and technology, she meets with Nina and Ryu on their attempt to escape Balio and Sunder. She helps them on their journey studying, the machines along the way. She is a big fan of her father and shares the dream that someday they will actually be able to build machines, for everybody only knew how to repair things.

A machine soldier from Caer Xhan, the ancient home of the gods, sided with Momo. Momo repaired Honey and they grew close. She helps Ryu and his friends along the way, opening up passageways and portals that God has created.

A mutated onion born from a mutated plant. The mutated plant orders Ryu to kill him because he was a danger to people. Before dying, he entrusts his son, Peco, to Ryu. As the story revolves, Peco turns out to be Yggdrasil, the tree of life and wisdom. He argues with goddess Myria on her decision to kill Ryu. His vast wisdom helped not only, but also Ryu's friends who he refers to as "these children".

A guardian during the Dragon Wars, the slaughtering of the Brood. He joins the Contest of Champions, where as a prize the winner could ask for anything. He learns that Ryu is a dragon ,and as a winner, he asks for Ryu and his friends to be his prize. He explains to Ryu that he is part of the Brood, which Ryu was unaware of, and was helpful enough to teach Ryu about his people and help with his journey. He tells Ryu that they must go to a place called Angel Tower, which played a big role in the Dragon Wars. There he asks to be alone with Ryu and tells him that he was a good guardian, or in other words it was his mission to kill every single Brood. He attacks Ryu but loses. Garr tells him to finish him off, but Ryu refuses. Ryu suddenly disappears and is found again by Garr, years later, in the form of a dragon. He tells him about how none of the others, like Ryu, fought back. In doubt of his actions, he sides with Ryu, in search for the truth and why the Brood had to be killed.
