For those of you have just gottern digimons and lost their rule sheet or somthing.
Find a friend with a digimon who is older than a Koromon. Both of you have to go to the screen that says BATTLE then put your digimons together by the top. One of you has to press the B button or it won't work. After both of your battle screens have gone away and both of the digimons are just sitting there opening and closing thier mouth you can seperate the digimons. If you did it correctly you should see an "OK" on both of your screens. After that you don't have to touch anything just let them duke it out.
The way you know you won a monster match is he will shoot two of whatever he fights with and then there will be 4 things surrounding him as shown below.
When your digimon is happy(that's either when you clean up his poop or he beats himself in training)he will look like this.
If what is shown below happens wake your digimon up and clean it up.
When your digimon dies he will stop moving and there will be a skull next to him. The difference between death and wounded is when your wounded the digimon is moving his eye but when he's dead he stops moving.
If you aren't touching your digimon and letting him do what he wants he will always just walk around the screen as shown twice below.
