is driving a wooden sign into the ground. He's Demidevimon, Myotismon's little servant. "This better work, I hate it, when Myotismon gets angry." He remembers what happened last time.
FLASHBACK......
"This is extremely perplexing, we've been trying to find Gennai for over 2 months. Got any ideas Tentomon?" Izzy asks.
"Let's take a break and wait for him to come to us," Tentomon suggests.
"There's no time to rest, so stop asking!" Izzy exclaims. Tentomon lowers his head in shame. The two continue to walk up the rocky hill, in hopes of finding the one person that can help them find Tai and give them adequate information.
Meanwhile a familiar Digimon with bat-like wings is driving a wooden sign into the ground. He's Demidevimon, Myotismon's little servant. "This better work, I hate it, when Myotismon gets angry." He remembers what happened last time.
FLASHBACK......
"Demidevimon! I'm still waiting for you to steal those crests from those kids."
"Your Myotismon, I'd be out of my mind to make you mad!" Demidevimon cowers.
"I'll give you one more chance....." Myotismon warns.
Demidevimon remembers the torture Myotismon and his bats can put out. One last drive into the ground, Demidevimon sees Izzy and Tentomon coming. He quickly flys away.
Izzy wonders why Gennai is always so secretive. He takes out his crest, Izzy explains he wants to talk to Gennai about the crests. Behind a rock, unnoticed is Demidevimon. He takes out a camera and takes a picture of the crest. He snickers.
"I wonder where Gennai can be, with all my knowledge I still can't find him." Izzy wonders.
Tentomon notices something. "Look Izzy it's a sign!"
"You mean from above?" Izzy walks over.
"No, your on the ground." Tentomon says. The sign reads: BEWARE OF FALLING SLUDGE Tentomon imagines piles of sludge falling on him and Izzy. They decide not to go that way, they turn around and find another sign. And it reads: BEWARE OF BOTTOMLESS SLUDGE PIT Again Tentomon imagines Izzy and him falling...falling with a lot of sludge by their side. Tentomon shakes the thought out. They find another sign and it reads: BEWARE OF ATTACK SLUDGE Tentomon images a giant pink sludge with a mouth with sharp teeth in it's jaws chasing them. Tentomon shakes the very thought away. He does not want to read another sign. They have no place else to go. They are surrounded by sludge. Suddenly the ground beneath them starts to crack. Both of them fall into what seems like a bottomless pit. Demidevimon laughs at his clever plan. "If we keep falling we'll....."
"Be in a very unpleasant place." A mysterious voice says. Tentomon tries hard to fly up, but he can't. Izzy grabs onto Tentomon but Tentomon isn't strong enough to lift the two up. They both fall. "Need a lift?"
Izzy and Tentomon floats up, Izzy on a giant rubber duck and Izzy in a life saver. The mysterious voice explains to them that it is a temporary life raft. Everything that's greedy falls in. Izzy explains that he doesn't comprehend. "What are you accussing us of being greedy for?" Izzy asks. The mysterious voice explains that he knows too much. He's sticking his nose in, where it doesn't belong. "What can possibly be wrong with gaining more information and knowledge?"
"Your doing it again! You can't seem to stop yourself." The voice says, that it's like a disease. "Oh well, nice knowing you." The rubber duck begins to inflate and explodes, Izzy starts falling.
"Don't worry Izzy, I'll save you. Give me you hand." Izzy grabs a hold of Tentomon's "hands". But Izzy is too heavy. Tentomon starts to claw the air, trying desperately to swim to the top.
The voice says that he shouldn't pull Tentomon in with him. If they don't want to fall then, "give up your curiosity to me." They have no choice.
"But it's your curiosity that I admire." Tentomon says to Izzy. Izzy asks how they should get out of this predicament. Yet more questions, the voice pops the life saver and both of them hurtle to the bottom.
Izzy cries out, "I give up, I give up." A pale blue bubble like sack floats to the top. A laugh is heard, an evil laugh.
In an enviroment totally new and different Tentomon and Izzy is there. It seems like they are in space, planets can be seen. "Well we finally made it out, but where are we now?" Tentomon asks. Something in Izzy's eyes are different.
A purple lights crescent moon is seen. A Digimon with a large head that looks like a brain appears. Vademon is his name, with many tentacle like legs to project it's movement. Izzy prays to him. "Welcome to my Universe, I hope you enjoy your stay here," Vademon introduces himself, he is the one that made this Universe. The Digimon Status Box pops up, "Vademon is living proof that you should stay away from Digimon with unusually big heads." Vademon starts to explain that Izzy's curiosity is in the pale blue sack. He zaps it with his gun, and says it's garbage. He doesn't want it messing around his Universe, what he considers garbage he sells. He throws Izzy a book, "It's all you need to know."
"All I need to know," Izzy repeats. He opens the book COSMOS. Vademon disappears. "To be one with the Universe, you must erase your thoughts," Izzy reads out in a trance.
"Thoughts make up who you are, you mustn't erase them!" Tentomon says objecting.
"It is important to breathe into your thoughts so they'll disinigrate and slowly turn into mush."
"I've heard enough!" Tentomon lunges for the book. But Izzy hold him back.
"Keep away from me!" Izzy throws Tentomon aside. Izzy's digi-vice starts to blink. Tentomon sees it, someone's sending them a message! "The less you think about, the happier you'll be..."
Tentomon opens Izzy's lap top. Tai's face is in the monitor. Izzy comes over. "Look it's Tai, where are you?" Izzy asks.
"I heard the message your in danger, I'm trying to find you!"
"I'm trying to find myself. Don't bother coming to the Digi-World Tai. You'll just be messing the Universe." There is much static on the screen. The transmission was shut off. Izzy drifts away and continues reading his COSMOS book.
"The Izzy I knew is no more."
In Vademon's warehouse of curiosity, dreams and other gadgets, Vademon is very satisfied with his new stock. The door bell rings....up on the ground Demidevimon is seen pushing the door bell. Vademon pops out of the ground, "Have I got a bargain for you."
"Well, I hope so." Demidevimon replies. Vademon explains that there is dreams and curiosity for sale. Demidevimon holds up a picture and asks if he has seen the two (Izzy and Tentomon). Vademon says yes and jumps back down the hole, Demidevimon looks down and Vademon pops right up. Holding in his hand Izzy's curiosity. Demidevimon says he doesn't wnat it, he shows him Izzy's crest's picture. Vademon sees it and says that it is expensive, since that is an item they usually not carry. Demidevimon strikes a deal with him. Saying he'll give some of his own curiosity for the crest. Vademon in his own mind, thinks about all the curiosity that Demidevimon must have. A mountain of Curiosity. Vademon starts to drool, it's a DEAL.
Back in the Universe, Izzy is busy mediatating. He shapes his whole body to certain letters of the alphabet....A-B-C.....H
"Izzy what are you doing?" Tentomon asks.
"I am focussing my brain on some basic fundamentals." Izzy explains....I.....M-N
Vademon appears again and asks for the crest, saying that is an item he does not need. Izzy hands Vademon the crest. Tentomon objects to it and starts to get it back "Have you gone bananas?! You can't throw that away!" Vademon zaps Tentomon away with his lazer gun. "IZZY!"
"Forget about him, now go back to your training!" With that Vademon disappears. Izzy returns to his letter meditation.T....V....
Back on top, Vademon shows Demidevimon the crest. Demidevimon tries hard to give up some of his curiosity but it doesn't work. Vademon tries to help him and kicks him to a rock, but to no avail.
"I've lost him. I...I have no energy left," Tentomon says weakly. He starts to de-digi-volve....to Motimon. Izzy notices this. Motimon de-digi-volves to Pabumon. Pabumon starts to cry, tears well up.
"Pabumon? What's wrong with you? I told you not to bother me, when I'm meditating!" Izzy shouts at Pabumon.
Pabumon cries, it's tears are clear bubbles. "Have you already forgotten who I am Izzy? Who you are? Try to remember....try." Pabumon's tears drift by Izzy, each with a memory. "I just want to figure out what the Digi-World really is" A determined Izzy says. "Hold on Izzy and don't let go of your curiosity! That's what I admire." Tentomon says in the bottomless hole. "This is merely scientific speculation but I stumbled on something more than a computer game." Izzy says, first time they found the huge battery in the storage warehouse where Andromon was. The bubbles instantly pop. "NO!" Izzy cries.
Izzy realizes that he was wrong to give away his curiosity. He goes to Pabumon and apologizes. "Please don't cry Pabumon. Sorry, I didn't mean to let you de-digivolve."
Both hear an argument, they find a door and look through the window embedded in the door. Demidevimon says that he has to have the crest, and says Myotismon is his boss. Vademon is not scared and doesn't give the crest to him. Izzy realizes he's been tricked, but confused still without his curiosity. He doesn't have any idea how to get it back. Vademon opens the door to tell Demidevimon to go out. Pabumon races in and snatches Izzy's crest, Vademon and Demidevimon race after him. They all race out and Izzy quickly goes in and locks the door, with Pabumon in his hands. Izzy follows Pabumon, he finds Izzy's curiosity! "Curiosity is essential!" Izzy says. He lifts his curiosity up and concentrates, "Curiosity come back in my heart..." His curiosity fuses with him.
Vademon blasts the door open, he chases Izzy and Pabumon around. They all exit to the Universe. Pabumon digi-volves backt o Motimon. ZAP! Motimon digivolve to Tentomon. A blast just misses Izzy..."IZZY BE CAREFUL!"
Izzy's digi-vice rings and the light and data comes out and inserts itself into Tentomon. "TENTOMON DIGI-VOLVE TO KABUTERIMON!" Kabuterimon flys toward Vademon, Vademon sends a bunch of asteriods at Kabuterimon. Knocking him out. "Get up! You gotta digivolve!" Izzy cries out.
Izzy's crest and digi-vice shines and a different light is emmitted and Kabuterimon....."KABUTERIMON DIGIVOLVE TO MEGA KABUTERIMON! MegaKabuterimon knocks through all the asteriods. Vademon says that he has a surprise for him. He disappears and a giant planet is thrust onto MegaKabuterimon. This gets him angry...."HORN BUSTER!" MegaKabuterimon destroys everything, Izzy is tossed, but MegaKabuterimon catches him. A bright white light is emitted through the ground.
TK, Matt and Digimon are walking along a route when they see the explosion. They find Izzy and Motimon. "Tell us what happened," TK says.
"Hello kids, it's been a while."
"IT'S GENNAI!"
"The connection between the worlds is still damaged. You'll have to stay longer. I've collected some information from the Digi World, that you can use. Just look at the Digimon file. It has all you need to know." Gennai says. With that he disappears.
Izzy opens his laptop and downloads his favorite Digimon, MegaKabuterimon. Motimon sees this and blushes, "Oooh, he's cool dude."
