The sun is just rising, Tai wakes up and blinks. He takes out his telescope and see it. It's land! "Hey I see an iceberg, either that or it can be the continent of Server," Tai jokes.
"It's Server," Whamon tells him.
"Alright!" Tai wakes everyone up. All the Digimon are impressed by this big "island", the kids explain that it's a continent. Mimi is still fast asleep, Palmon tries to wake Mimi up but she just keeps on sleeping.
Whamon swims close to the shore. Tai and Agumon slide off of Whamon's back, the rest of the group follows. "Come on Mimi!" Sora calls out. Mimi is still on top of Whamon back, unwilling to slide down.
"Uh..this is too extreme for me..." Mimi explains. Whamon bounces Mimi off his back. She lands on Izzy, "I think I broke a nail." The two get up.
"According to the map. This is the best beach to come ashore," Izzy explains.
"Good luck finding the crests!" Whamon says, with that he swims back into the ocean.
"So what are we going to do now?" Mimi asks. Before Whamon left, he told the group that there was a Koromon village near there. "Koromon? That sounds familiar," Mimi says, trying to remember where she heard that word.
"I was a Koromon the day you got here," Agumon explains.
"Oh, I forgot," Mimi says, remembering now and smiles.
"Koromon are a group of Digimon willing to help those in need," Tentomon explains to everyone. The group all decide to go to the village. They walk and walk....and walk some more. They're in a hot dry desert, they almost want to give up when...sniff..sniff...sniff
"I smell Koromon," Agumon says, holding his nose high. He smells Koromon straight ahead. Tai takes out his mini telescope and sees a forest. The whole group run towards it. They enter the forest and not long they see a village, with little tent huts and a big central tower in the center.
Mimi hoping for a bath, runs into the village, "A BATH!"
"WAIT!" Palmon shouts after her. Palmon runs into the village after her.
"Uhh..." Agumon is hestitant.
"What is it Agumon?" Tai asks, seeing his Digimon hestitant.
"Something doesn't feel right," Agumon replies.
In the village, "A bath! Someone find me a rubberduck!" Mimi reaches the village and in front of her are small grey Digimon. They all turn around and smile at her.
"Hmmm?" They are not Koromon, but Pagumon. There are more to them than meets the eye. The Pagumon all smirk and carry Mimi away. They knock down Palmon. "They've got Mimi!" Palmon cries, as the group comes. They all follow the Pagumon. On the way they lose them and Mimi.
"Oh help!" Tai hears Mimi's voice from the central tower, they all run in. They see Mimi's hat on the stairs, inside. "There's the price tag, it's Mimi's alright" Sora points out. The group runs up the stairs.
On the way they find Mimi's purse, in front of a curtain. "She doesn't go anyway without it," Joe explains. The group opens the curtain and walk in. It's a room, Sora notices the side wall shelves, which look like cubbies.
"Hmm, no Tai don't go in!" Sora shouts, as Tai opens the curtain at the end of the room. Steam is rising from a big pool, soap bubbles are in the pool. And so is MIMI!
"Oh wash, wash, wash, away..."Mimi's back is toward Tai, she doesn't notice him. Tai is shocked, Izzy goes beside Tai to see what the matter is. He too is shocked, his mouth is gaped wide open. They can't seem to move.
"Uhh..sorry Mimi," Izzy utters.
Mimi turns and is surprised to see the two boys looking at her. She covers her body with her arms. Things are thrown at the boys, "Have you ever heard the phrase knock before entering???!!!!!" She manages to club the two boys with the thrown objects. The boys lie on the ground dazed. Sora goes up and closes the curtain.
Sora shakes her head, "I believe I told you guys not to go in."
Night approaches and everyone is in the central tower. "Welcome to our village, we hope you never go...welcome to our village, we hope you never go..." The Pagumon are all singing and entertaining the group. The Pagumon all have party hats on and the kids and Digimon are sitting down and eating. The Pagumon are serving and entertaining their guests of File Island.
"This is definitely a Pagumon village," Gabumon comments.
Agumon is sitting beside him, "I know what I smelt was Koromon, I bet my nose on it."
With all the service, Mimi is in heaven. She's really enjoying it, she feels just like a princess.
"Listen Tai, you don't suppose this can be a trap?" Sora asks Tai.
Tai is happy eating and says,"It's not, don't you know I know a good Digimon from a bad one?" He takes a bite out the pear.
"This is really strange, I've always heard the Pagumon were awful pranksters," Tentomon says, not impressed by the food and the entertainment.
"You were only hearing an awful rumor," Gomamon says.
"These guys are really nice Digimon," Biyomon comments. The Pagumon are all happy to hear this and brings the group more food.
"You like that?" TK says, feeding Poyomon some food. Poyomon munches on the food happily. Poyomon's eyes open wide and his body goes stiff..."Poyomon digivolve to....Tokomon!" "Hey, he's Tokomon again!" TK says happily and hugs Tokomon.
"The food must of made him digi-volve," Izzy comments.
"Let's hear it for Tokomon!" Mimi cheers. Everyone gives a hip...hip...hurray!!! and claps.
"Congratulations, way to go, we're all excited, way to go!" The Pagumon sing. They turn away from the group and smile with an evil look in their eyes.
The lights are all out, the group is sleeping. The Pagumon all crowd around Tokomon with evil looks all around. They take him into the forest. They carry Tokomon away and tie him up. "I want my digi-mommy!"
In a clearing, Tokomon asks, "Why you picking on me?"
"Cause you digi-volved." The Pagumon in front says. "You were so easy to fool, what a bunch of losers!"
"What do you think your doing?!" An angry scowl is heard above. Standing on a boulder are three Gazimons. From a scale from one to ten, ten being bad, these guys are twelve.
The Pagumons tell the Gazimons where they found the Tokomon, they said that it came with a group of humans.
"There are humans here?!" The Gazimon all gasp. One of the Gazimons run off to find Etemon. The two Gazimons tell the Pagumon to keep an eye on the kids. The Pagumons all nod and smirk.
The Pagumon go behind a waterfall and throw the tied up Tokomon in a cage. The Pagumon all return to their village. All around Tokomon, red eyes surround him. Tokomon whimpers.
The Gazimon that went to look for Etemon, arrives on a beach with canoes, but it is deserted. "Etemon, where are you? Etemon!" A wagon pulled by a Monochromon arrives and stops in front of Gazimon. The trailer opens up and smokes and flashing lights appear, with a shadowy figure behind it. As the smoke clears, we see Etemon. Etemon is an orange and beiger colored Digimon with shades. A stuffed Monzaemon toy hangs on his waist. There is nothing entertaining about Etemon. He controls all things electronic with his dark network. The Gazimon informs Etemon about the Digi-Destined. Etemon planned for the kids arrival, but never knew they arrived. He gets angry at the kids for ruining his big plan. "I am the King here, they have to learn the hard way, whatch already know. You can't mess with the royal one, uh ha ha!" Etemon says. Etemon's voice is very similiar to Elvis Presley's, so is his personality. "I order you to launch the dark network!" The trailer goes full speed toward the village.
"This will be your greatest performance yet, boss," Gazimon says.
At the village, it is morning everyone is awake and finding Tokomon. They all split up in different place to look for Tokomon. Not in the village. Or the South side of the building. The Pagumon say, "He's not near the waterfall." The group is puzzled as to where Tokomon can go.
Agumon is alone and walking in the forest. He senses something odd. He arrives at the waterfall and looks around, nothing. sniff...sniff...sniff He smells Koromon, behind the waterfall. He walks behind the waterfall and sees Tokomon tied up and locked in a cage. He turns around and sees all the Koromon locked up in three cages. "Boy, you guys gotta get a bigger apartment." The Koromon explain that the Pagumon came and locked them in cages, they even took over their whole village.
"I appreciate talking as much as the next guy but you can untie me and we can go and warn the others," Tokomon says.
"Right, it'll be just a minute," Agumon says, trying to break the cage. He senses someone behind him. He turns around.
Two Gazimon appear behind Agumon. "We are going to give you those humans of yours to King Etemon," The Gazimons explains.
"No your not," Agumon says, he's ready to fight.
"Why don't we teach the little lizard a lesson?" The two Gazimons lunge toward Agumon.
Tai notices, Agumon missing. He is standing on top of a tent/hut, with his telescope in hand. Izzy comments that Tokomon is small, he can't go too far.
A very bruised and battered Agumon stands up. "Electric stun blast!" The two Gazimons each fire an electric blast at Agumon. Agumon is blasted back, all the Koromons are cheering for Agumon. "Tai, please help me digi-volve!" Agumon says, under his breath. He is just too far away from Tai and can't digi-volve. He sees the waterfall behind the Gazimons and has an idea. "PEPPER BREATH!" The Gazimons dodge it, but the fireball disinigrates in the water. Agumon does that again, from far away smoke signals appear.
"What are you doing, you dolt?!" The Gazimons ask.
With his telescope Tai sees the smoke signals, coming from the waterfall. The Pagumon tell the group it's nothing and that they cheked the waterfall already. "It could be possible that Tokomon came when you left," Izzy says. Tai volunteers to check it out.
"NO! DON'T DO THAT!" The Pagumon all say, alarmed.
"Hey so what's the problem, we're just going to take a look," Sora explains.
"Just take out word for it," The Pagumon say.
AHHH! Mimi shrieks and a black thing with glowing eyes is on her lap. It's a Botamon The previous stage of Koromon. They wonder why would it be here? They finally realize the truth, this village was a Koromon village, Agumon was right. The Pagumon all start to leave.
Agumon is badly injured. "Stop it!" Tokomon cries as he sees his friend being beaten up.
"Tai, where are you?" Agumon cries.
"Hold on!" Tai running as quick as he can toward his Digimon. Tai runs behind the waterfall and sees Agumon. "Agumon, are you alright?"
"Now I am," Agumon says relieved.
"So your one of the Digi-Destined," The Gazimons say.
"Agumon digi-volve to...."GREYMON!" "So you like to fight two against one eh? NOVA BLAST!" The Nova Blast sent the two Gazimons down into the river. The others arrive and go behind the waterfall.
"Tokomon, I thought I lost you again," TK says, untying and freeing Tokomon. The others free the Koromon.
"I'm like a boomerang, I keep coming back," Tokomon says happily. The group starts to tell the Koromon to go to the village when...
"Well, hello...thank you very much. Now listen up you bratty kids. You messed up my big and beautiful plan. Here's a number I wrote it's called 'Wrecking The Whole Place'," he plays a chord on his guitar, "Dark network concert crash!" On the ground numerous cables appear and float up. In the Koromon village, tents/huts are being destroyed, one by one.
Everyone starts to digi-volve, Etemon seeing this plays his guitar again and sings, "Dark Network Concert Crash!" Everyone returns to their previous form.
"Something's strange is going on," Tai says. Dark network concert crash took away their power.
"Does rock and roll have that effect in your world?" Tentomon asks.
"Only on our parents," Sora says. The group is out of ideas, they remember Jeni's words. If only they can digi-volve furthur, to the next level. This is must be what Jeni was referring to the crests and tags. Etemon seals the waterfall, the group is trapped with the Koromon. Everyone runs to the back of the waterfall. There they see a sign. The Koromon explain that it's a safe place to run when something bad happens.
Tai's tag starts to glow, he holds it up to the wall. The whole room lights up, the wall shrinks down and combines with the tag. It inserts itself in the tag. "A crest" Tai says.
"A crest?" Sora says. It is the crest of courage. The wall in front of them disappeared and they appear to have been transported some where else, away from Etemon.
"With this crest we can do anything we want. You know guys, I think this is the first step for our trip home," Tai says happily. A dark cable rise and sees them, like a survelenve camera.
"Defeating those kids will earn me a standing ovation, mmm...mmm...hmm," Etemon says, learnt that the kids have escaped.
