The kids have a meeting in the night, they all sit around the camp fire. They don't know where to start looking for Sora. Datamon could of taken her anywhere.
"What if Datamon does something to harm Sora, while we sit here on out butts?!" Tai exclaims.Matt says that they've already been beaten. They need a plan of attack.
"This is more depressing than a soap opera," Mimi says. Tai sighs.
Near the entrance to the cave, TK and the Digimon are all there together. "We better get some sleep, I'll stay next to you guys. Just in case any of you guys get scared," TK offers.
"Wow...." "Thanks!" All the Digimon thank and are impressed by him. "Goodnight guys," Tk and the Digimon all go to sleep.
"It's tough not knowing what to do," Matt says.
"The minute I saw what was happening, I should of gone after her," Tai says. Remembering what happened.
"It's no use blaming yourself Tai, we're all to blame," Joe says calmly, trying to cheer Tai up.
"And we're all going to find a way to get her back," Matt says. From the entrance, Izzy runs out the campfire. He explains to the group that Datamon only pretended to take Sora away. He brings the group back in and shows them, that there's another half to the pyramid. They are in a secret room, way down below the pyramid. A prefect hiding place, right under Etemon's nose.
"Not a bad place, just as long he isn't sneezing," Joe comments.
"...Guys I totally understand if you rather wait here," Tai says.
"Enough with the guilt trip!" Matt shouts out.
"Remember the old saying, there's no i in TEAM," Mimi reminds him.
Alright then, now let's go get Sora!" Tai says, full of trust now.
The screen is black, someone wakes up, through they're eyes we see a stone building. It's Sora! "Have I been dreaming? This isn't my bedroom where am I?" Sora realizes she's chained to a table. Also Biyomon is chained up on top of the wall, she's unconscious."NO!"
Datamon is at the control panel typing away. He plans on using Biyomon to destroy Etemon. Sora points out that Biyomon will never help him, she can't digi-volve without her. A red scanner appears , covering Sora's feet. On the other table across the room, a pair of feet appear. "Hey, what's happening over there?" Sora asks.
"Relax, I'm just making a replica of you," Datamon explains. He believes that Biymon's power has nothing to do with Sora, but who happens to be in possession of the digi-vice and crest.
"You will never be able to command Biyomon!"
Datamon explains that he remembers well the fight with Etemon. He vowed to take revenge and with Biyomon's help, he will get it.
Outside the pyramid, Tyranomons, Monochromons and Gazimons are all outside guarding the pyramid. Tentomon flys over head above and reports the positions of the enemies. "Boy, with so many of the Digimon surrounding the pyramid like this, there is just no way we can get in there without anyone seeing us!" Izzy says. The enemies are indicated on the screen by the many red dots.
The group assemble at the mouth of the sphinx. They have a plan using decoys. The object is for Tai, Agumon, Tentomon and Izzy to get inside the pyramid undetected. "You do have the directions for me don't you?" Tai asks.
"Yes, but just one more thing,"
"How come I wanna throw up when you say just one more thing?"
"Okay now. To enter the secret room, you have to take a hidden passage. But there is another electrifying wall to get past. Just like the room Datamon was in, " Izzy explains. Tai remembers what happened last time. He paniced, he froze.
Tai shakes the memory off, "I don't care what the wall is, I'm going through!"
The whole group ducks behind a sand dune, Mimi covers the group with a sand colored blanket. They all go over their prioity...yo save Sora. Don't want any unnecessary trouble. If they run into Etemon, turn the other way and run. "You got that TK?" Matt asks.
"Yep!" TK nods.
"Whoever doesn't come back alive is in a lot of trouble," Mimi says. They all have to time their plan, exactly right.
"Take cover everyone battle postitions!" Tai orders. Joe and Gomamon moves behind a sand dune.
"HARPOON TORPEDO!" Ikkakumon fires five of his torpedos. Bullseye! Right into the pyramid. This got the attention of the outside guards. Monochromon and Tyranomon run toward Joe and Ikkakumnon. "Alright be brave......." Joe looks at the monsters coming toward him, "maybe tomorrow." He and Ikkakumon run the other way.
Garurumon and Matt turn and fire at the Gazimons remaining. The Gazimons chase after all of them. In the control room with all the monitors, Etemon notices their strange behavior. He thinks to himself that they should be attacking with all they got. He doesn't get it. Etemon runs out and into his trailer. He chases after them.
Tai and Agumon get up. "Come one Izzy, let's move out!"
"Roger!"
*Gasp!* "He forgot his name!" Mimi comments.
Tai, Izzy, Tentomon and Greymon continue to run into the pyramid. They run and hit a dead end, it's blocked by stones. They go through the other way. In the control room, a Gazimon notices something on the screen. He asks the other Gazimon, the other one just says it must be flys. The Gazimon rewinds and tries to find it.
Outside, Ikkakumon continues to fire. Turning some of the Digimon into stone. Mimi and Palmon notices Etemon is heading toward Matt and Joe. Togemon carries Mimi and runs off to help the others. Etemon arrives and throws his "Dark Network" evil energy ball towards everyone. Attacking even his own Digimon.
Datamon tells Sora that her friends are on the way. The copy is finally finished. An enormous explosion is fired. Datamon explains that her friends are in a furious battle outside.
The Gazimon finds it! He found the part in the tape, that shows Tai and Izzy running into a doorway.
Ikkakumon runs and dodges the Dark Network. Etemon runs in front of him. Garurumon sneaks up behind him and blasts..."GROWLING BLASTER!" Etemon just barely dodges it. Togemon fires..."NEEDLE SPRAY!" Etemon dodges and catches all of the needles. "That the best you can do? I've seen sharper nails in Granny's knit bag!" All three of the heroic Digimons face off. Etemon has the advantage, he throws all of them around. Etemon takes a deep breath and sings! The song makes everyone digi-volve back. "Etemon! I've discovered the where-abouts of the other children, sir!" The Gazimon in the control room pages Etemon. The Gazimon tells Etemon about Izzy and Tai.
Why would they be? Unless....Datamon is still inside. Datamon's smarter than I thought! But not as smart as me, " Etemon looks back, in hopes of finishing the defeated Digimon. But everyone's gone.
"He sure has a lot of anger," Matt comments under the blanket.
"Looks like the Gazimons have figured out we're here," Tai says, seeing all the Gazimon scramble. They are close to the room, which is at the bottom of some stone steps. "Let's move."
CRASH! Etemon crashes through the ceiling and chases after the children. He wants Datamon. Kabuterimon backs him off. Tai and Agumon continue to go down the steps. They reach an electrical wall at the bottom. Tai doesn't want Agumon to break it. Tai explains that he has to do this alone or he may never be able to do it. Sweat mats on Tai's forehead. He holds up his hand and reaches forward, slowly shaking. He takes a deep breath and reaches through, he did it! nothing happened, Tai's crest glows.
"Yipee!" Agumon shouts with glee. Etemon and Kabuterimon roll down the steps. Greymon battle Etemon. "Tai, break through to Sora!"
"Good luck Greymon," Tai goes through. He sees Sora standing next to Datamon almost in a trance. "Sora speak to me!"
"That's not Sora!" Biyomon says, still chained to the wall.
"Tai, over here," Sora says, still chained on the table. Datamon explains the copy is finished, he just needs to give the crest and Digi-vice to the Copy Sora. Then he can control that Sora and defeat Etemon. Tai runs quickly to the Digi-vice and crest, he takes them and runs toward Sora.
"No! What are you doing?!" Datamon screams behind him. "I cannot permit a mere boy to spoil my plan for revenge!" Datamon presses a button on the control panel. A hole opens up under Sora, Sora falls!
A gloved hand holds on her hand, Tai got her. Datamon explains that it is Etemon's center of his Dark Network. Anything going in there, will be lost forever. Tai drops the digi-vice and crest to Sora. Sora catches it, "Biyomon!"
Birdramon flys and lifts both of them up and out of danger. Birdramon flys through a wall. The eletrical wiring hits Etemon knocking him down. Kabuterimon and Greymon and Birdramon all go outside.
Inside, Datamon knows his copy will never work so he deletes it. Etemon comes in and battles with Datamon. Datamon presses a button and the walls of the room shrink, slowly moving towards the hole. Etemon tries to jump out of the way, but Datamon holds his ankle. "Now you let go of me or I'm going to open you up like a can of beans!" Datamon releases viruses into the network, Etemon tries desperately to hold on to the edge of the floor. But he can't hold it and falls in. His Digimon all fall into the hole also, the Tyranomon and Monochromon. The top half of Etemon's body doesn't get sucked in. The pyramid explodes and reveals the larger more powerful Etemon. He can fly now. "METEOR WINGS!" "ELECTRO SHOCKER!"
"Her that was pretty good, I give it a 9.6!" He unleashes an energy ball, it bounces toward the sphinx...it melted!
It seems to be impossible now to defeat Etemon. "No, I'm not ready to surrender to Etemon just yet!" Tai cries out. "Coming Greymon?!" Tai runs out towards Etemon.
"I'm right behind you!" Greymon stomps toward Etemon.
"Come down here and fight like a mon!" The kids know that Tai doesn't stand a chance. Etemon knocks down Greymon. Tai's digi-vice and crest starts to glow.
"Tai, your bravery is giving me even more strength! Now I can digi-volve!" Greymon gets up and says.
A 3D Digi-vice shines out a light, the bright light goes through the crest of courage. A new light shines, (this is all in 3D, very ver nice) The light inserts itself into a 3D Greymon 
"GREYMON DIGI-VOLVE TO....METAL GREYMON!!!!" Metal wings appear on it's back, Greymon grows orange hair and metal claws on it's forearms. A more metalized look for Greymon. Metal Greymon uses it's own body as a weapon during combat. It's most powerful weapon is the Geesha Destroyer.
Etemon fires out a Dark Network. Metal Greymon blocks it. He bashes into Etemon. Metal Greymon opens up his metal chest and reveals two missles. He fires it toward Etemon explodes, and a glowing vortex appears. It sucks in the remaining Tyranomon and Monochromon. Tai and Metal Greymon gets sucked in also. The last sight they saw of Tai and Metal Greymon is a shining streak flying past the skies.
Somewhere else, people walk. People talk. People play. Koromon and Tai stand and stare at the activity around them. They don't believe it. "Koromon......I'm.....I'm.....home."
