The group is walking through, yet again the desert. They all savor a little breeze. Mimi's walking and admiring her crest, she notices that everyone else's is different.
"Hmm, we need to know how to use them," Joe says, "or our Digimon will digi-volve all messed up."
"Yeah, but all that doesn't matter until we find all the crests," Matt comments.
"Hmm, maybe your right Matt. Maybe the crest powers comes from having them all," Izzy observes.
Tai looks back and sees the whole group has stopped and are talking. He's already walked away from the group. Tai shouts to the group that he found shade.
"Oh Tai, thanks but we are in a serious Digi-conversation about the crests and everything and then you made me forget what I was going to say. You be in charge of shade. We'll catch up," TK says to Tai.
Tai and Agumon are surprised at TK's sudden leadership. The ground beneath them tremble and they fall through a black hole.
"What happened?" TK asks innocently.
"Something grabbed them from underneath," Joe says, seeing the whole incident.
"IT'S KUWAGUMON!" Matt shouts out. Tai and Agumon are dangling from it's pincers. Kuwagumon throws the two down.
"This is Kuwagumon no doubt. But he sure is bigger than last time," Palmon says. This Kuwagumon is huge with six arms and legs, probably twice the size of the last Kuwagumon, the group last encountered.
"PEPPER BREATH!" Not a scratch. "This guy much stronger than used to be," Agumon says. Tai and Agumon are both standing in front of it. Gabumon tells Agumon to digi-volve. Agumon looks hestitant. Kuwagumon throws Tai away from Agumon. Agumon is all left by himself.
'Hope Agumon won't freak out,' Tai thinks to himself.
'What if I can't digi-volve into Greymon?' Agumon questions himself. Tai from afar can see his Digimon in danger. He quickly runs towards Agumon.
"RUN AGUMON!" Gomamon cries out, sensing danger.
Kuwagumon opens it's pincers and starts to close them on Agumon, Agumon doesn't do anything. Tai runs in, just in time. He hugs Agumon and they both dodge the pincers.
"NO!" Sora cries out.
Just then, dark spheres with eyes and wings fly towards Kuwagumon. "Pixi bombs, seek and destroy!" Kuwagumon disappeared.....disinagrated.
"What happened to us?" Tai asks. A pink round Digimon with sandals and white feathery wings. It's holding a metal staff. It walks past Tai and Agumon singing a marching tune.
"A powderpuff with wings!" Mimi exclaims.
"Just don't use it on your face," Sora advises.
TK looks at the pinkish digimon and says that maybe Kuwagumon turned into the pink Digimon. The pink Digimon turns around and says, "I'm no enemy..."
"Oh I heard about you, your the famous Piximon right?" Biyomon asks. Mimi picks up Piximon. Piximon is famous for training skills and training Digiworld. All good Digimon fighters train from him.
"And I've heard about you too. But I'm not impressed!" The group stares at him. "Your the Digi-Destined. You gotta be more careful or you'll end up Digi-Dinners!" The group realizes that Piximon saved them.
"Reminds me of an old gym teacher," Matt comments.
Piximon critizes the Digimon for not being protective enough. The Digimon have self-doubt. Piximon also critizes the kids too. Everyone feels down and blue. Piximon advises that they train with him, and he walks off. The group thinks about it and has a huddle. They don't see any black gears on him and it is a honor to train with him, so they all agree to train with him. The kids follow Piximon farther and farther into the desert. "Are we there now?" Mimi complains.
"Almost there," Piximon says, but it's the seventh time he has said it.
Sora is thinking many refreshing thoughts and says them out loud. "Ice cream, cold root beer...."
"STOP THAT!" The whole group cries.
Piximon stops and jumps up, "Pixi Portal!" It appears to be a front door to a tropical forest. They go in, when they turn back they see Etemon's trailer. Piximon says, that the Portal is invisible to him so they are safe.
Inside, Etemon is jumping up and down with anger. His network is down, all he sees is a snowy screen.
The group arrives at Piximon's front steps.....there are hundreds of stairs! It's just like climbing a mountain, Piximon says no flying and they have to walk up all of them. One third of the way up, Piximon mentions food. Gomamon's eyes light up. They soon realize that there is a catch. They have to earn the food. They reach the top and go in a four floor colieseum with a giant Piximon statue in the middle. Their first chore is scrubbing the floors...all of them. But not Tai and Agumon. Piximon leads the two to a cave and tell them to find the exit.
At night, the whole group is tired. Everyone sleeps, Izzy notices Matt, they both go out. "Something's wrong, Tai's not back," Matt says.
"So what did you think happened?" Izzy asks. They can't decide but their tags light up. Their crests are close by, they decide to look for them. Piximon notices them too.
Agumon and Tai wake up and they find themselves drifting on a boat in a place full of water. Tai stands up and tries to look for help. Tai falls in the water, he gets pulled back up from Agumon with help from the oars. They see a light fly towards them and then disappear. They keep on drifting.
The group wakes up and the girls notice Tai, Matt and Izzy gone. Maybe Joe will be the next one. Joe calms himslef down by trusting Piximon. Piximon explains, that Tai is in special training and that Matt and Izzy went looking for their crests.
"Why do you wanna find the crests Izzy?" Matt asks, as they walk along the way they came in, through the jungle. Izzy explains that he's interested what Kabuterimon's next stage is. Izzy asks Matt. "I want to digi-volve, smarter, stronger learn something about myself. Reach my level" They reach the barrier, they walk through and see a well. The crests tell them to go down, they climb down. The walls of the well light up. They hold their tags toward the wall and their crests fly and combine into their tags. Etemon's black cable finds the kids and Etemon has spotted them. He sends Tyranomon to destroy the kids. Tyranomon has a huge fire breath that is very strong. Tyranomon blasts the barrier and everything is revealed. It goes in.
The group runs out to see what the matter is, Piximon tells them that the barrier has broken. They see Matt and Izzy. Tyranomon blasts, but Piximon forms a shield for the group. "Bye bye Digimon, bye bye" Etemon strums his guitar and the digimon ran out of power, they can't move or digi-volve.
Inside the cave, Tai sees a familiar bridge, they both climb on it. He sees his old self (about nine or so...) trying hard to ride a two wheeled bike. Young Tai is discouraged and wants to quit. Tai and Agumon offer help, they both hold up the bike, and Young Tai rides into the mist. Tai realizes, why Piximon sent them here. Piximon want them to learn to overcome their fear, they really have to believe in themselves. Tai shares his fear of Agumon digi-volving into Skull Graymon and Agumon was fearing the same thing. They know now that they must trust and believe in each other. They two get back on the boat with renewed strength to find the exit.
"Can't wait for Tai any longer, he needs this leeson but I've got to attack," Piximon says.
"Agumon digi-volve!!!" Tai commands. "Agumon digi-volve to....GREYMON!"
Greymon attacks Tyranomon and they both battle it. The little Digimon all cheer for them. Greymon rips out all of Etemon's black cables, sabotaging Etemon's dark network. Greymon fires his Nova Blast and sends Tyranomon away. He did it! Greymon digi-volves back.
The group thanks Piximon for his help and they go off into the desert. Piximon in his mind nods and says, "maybe they really are the Digi-Destined..."
