This job is a bit hard if you try to take it right after you defeat zio because you will only have 3 party members. When you enter the hole in Monsen, after wandering around for a bit you will find a pair of shoes. They look like they may be Tallas'. After wandering a bit more, you find an extremely large Fract Ooze and you think that maybe it swallowed up Tallas. To fight it, you need the usual setup spells, which in this case are Deban and Saner. Since Rika is the only one who has either, it will take 2 turns to cast. I advise casting Saner before Deban, but that is just my preference. The big attack that you should watch out for is the Cell Split attack, which does 30-50 to all members, but it's normal attack does quite a bit as well, dealing 70-90. Keep healing whenever you get around 1/2 of you hps, and you'll defeat it. When you do, you'll find out that Tallas was eaten by the Fract Ooze. You recieve the usual thanks plus a large 5000 meseta reward. Not bad. It looks like Tallas took back his shoes as well on his way back. | This job may be tough for a 3 person party, so you may want to go 2-3 levels above the required if you find that you are having trouble or you may even just try this mission later when you get more members. |
