SMITHY in Flagard ! | ||||||||||
Yes, there IS a Smithy in Flagard ! As many other doors, the Smithy's door will be closed when you arrive in town, but it will be unlocked after the battle in the Castle. In the middle of the town, there are 3 buildings very close from one another. Between two of them, there is a character-wide passage that leads to the third: the Smithy ! If you got every Mithril piece that could be found, you can get some very powerful weapons. But before you get there, you need to fight the battle inside Flagard Castle. And there are many things I recommend: 1- If some characters are still unpromoted, get them to LV20 by fighting that battle again and again (leaving when only one enemy is left), then promote them and get them around LV10 (after promotion). Some enemies that gave you 1-2 XP while unpromoted will now give you 33-49 XP ! 2- Don't end this battle unless EVERY character has been promoted and has reached a level near 10. In the upcoming battles, you will need your fighters to be strong and experienced. You also need to be promoted to be equipped with the Mithril Weapons from the Smithy. And last, you will need a lot of money to afford those weapons, so don't just fight for XP, you need the money too ! 3- When every character has been promoted and has reached an acceptable level, and you have enough money to afford equipping ALL your characters (see price charts), you can now enter the Smithy. Proceed like the Malorie instructions (save before, RESET if incorrect weapon). 4- Some weapons should not be bought, since you will find them anyway in the upcoming battles or towns. Don't buy any Blade, you'll find them all. Also, you will find the Gaia Axe in Malorie, so if you already found the Heat Axe in the Desert Ruins, you don't need another Axe, although the Gigantic Axe has a cool Special Attack. If Eldar is experienced enough with the Sword, buy her the Leviathan, it's worth it !!! Its Special Attack, "Heat Wave", is like a Blade's After Burner, but a lot more powerful. If one fighter (Synbios/Eldar) is skilled with the Rapier, get the Shiny Rapier, it's the most powerful one. 5- Again, you will need strong fighters with strong weapons in the upcoming battles, especially to fight opponents such as the Golem (on the Great Wall) or the Queen Worm (in the Plains). While reaching Malorie, and in Malorie, you will find more Mithril, so don't worry about using them in Flagard, you'll get enough for all your characters. As always, contact me if you want me to add/correct something. |
