OverPower Chat Using mIRC

Hello OP Chatters. Do you have a home computer? Reading this page from it now. Well, then you too can be chatting with other OP players, and collectors. You can talk about anything - complaining about the characters, new sites, trading cards, homemade cards, and other things. Also, if you are bored, we talk about anything; especially video games.

Chatting Rules Do not be offensive, and do not swear. Be polite- well at least treat others with some respect. Don't be annoying, and keep away from arguments about STUPID things. OPs? Well OPs have nothing to do with OverPower. Ops is abbreviation for operator. Its a title that gives a chatter a little power in that channel, usually, Ops are chatters that have been with the channel for 3 months or more. They have the power to kick and ban offensive chatters, which it does happen. You will become an OP when the times comes - Ask me, I enjoy being in the chats, and I'm not an OP. OverPower Games on IRC You can play OverPower on IRC, but if you do go to another channel or open a personal talk space with your opponent. I haven't played, but it doesn't sound bad just a little harder to play. You just have to know what hits are on your characters. Scheduled OverPower Chats Right now, we have scheduled chats on Saturdays at 10-11 pm EST (7-8pm PST). They are held on the SuperChat server at the #overpower channel. You can be there using the Los-Angeles.CA.US. SuperChat.Org or New Orleans.LA.US.SuperChat.Org servers- You may have to add these. For more information on SuperChat go to http://www.SuperChat.org Getting the mIRC Software Its easy as pi -well, may be not that one. Anyway, just go to http://www.mirc.com After downloading the program, follow the instructions to install the program. Setting Up Once installed go to the Main Menu where it says File and pick Setup. Now fill-in-the-blanks. You know - name, E-mail, and 2 chat handles (nicknames). Now all you have left is to pick a server. IRC Servers Like I said before in the Scheduled OP Chats -SuperChat, but of course you can go to any where and chat even with any of servers. Picking a Channel You can click on any spot from the default section or add the #overpower channel. You can also create you're own channel and have your friends get together and chat. Its cheaper than long distance. Commands: All the commands can be found under Commands in the Main Menu.
