Huran is a small planet in the Denares cluster of stars. It is Earth-like and can support human life. The Federated Commonwealth has claimed the planet as their own. The Draconis Combine cannot refute their claim, they have no forces within any workable distance.

IntroductionProvocation on Huran is a very simple BattleTech campaign lacking a very deep story line. It is also my very first attempt at the creation of a BattleTech campaign. The defender controls a small regiment of BattleMechs against unknown enemy forces. Suprises pop up all to often, so keep on your toes.
This campaign can be played using only the BattleTech Fourth Edition Boxed set. Hell, that's all I had when I wrote this campaign. Because it is my first attempt at a campaign, please e-mail me the bugs you find. I dont know if there are any official BattleTech campaign rules, so I'm making it up as I go. My next campaign will be branching.
When I refer to a series of hexes, I might use an X in place of the optional number. XX08 means all of the cells containing 08 as the last two digits. IE:0208,0308,0408,... 02XX means all of the cells containg 02 as the first to digits. IE:0211,0212,0213,...
When there are more than one map on the table, I'll preceed any hex number with a letter. IE:Hex0708 on Map A would be HexA0708.
The campaign itself is simple, but some of the special rules require special attention.
