Images From The Technocracy Games

I utilized many pictures for the Technocracy games from movies, Getty Images, celebrity, and art sites all over the Web. They were really helpful whenever a new character was introduced. Jaiyeson suggested that I compile all of the pictures and put them on my website. Hopefully the old players would stop by periodically to read the reports and look at some of the pictures to relive some of the games. It was a lot of fun for me to run the games for the group. Below you will find pictures I printed out for the game sessions. I don't have a picture for every character that made an appearance but those who were in the games for more than a scene probably has an accompanying photo.

The Player Characters (PCs)

Dr. Jim Goose, Progenitor Pharmacopeist (Jaiyeson)

Jim Goose started off as an everyday family man until Pentex pushed him a little too far. They fired the first shots by targeting his family for psychic corruption and  murder. Dr. Goose was the man who pulled everyone together despite their differences during missions. He has created many pharmaceuticals for the public and the Technocracy. Some of these products include: The First-Aid Spray, Goose Juice Vitamin Supplements, The Friendly Injection, The Last Breathe, Koncentrax, and Goose's 'Knock You The Fuck Out' Tranquilizer. He only used Enlightened Science procedures when absolutely necessary and relied on his normal abilities more than anything else. Though designed to be a researcher, his leadership skills, quick thinking, resourcefulness, and compassion put him on top of his game.  He is a  truly awesome character who embodies the Technocracy's model agent profile.

Agent Joshua Robinson, New World Order Operative (Tim)

Agent Robinson was only in the last few games but his mad hacking, interrogation, and surveillance skills got the team through many hurdles. Though he lacked the flaw Rose-Colored Mirrorshades, Robinson still acted like he did. If there is anyone out there that should be cast as a Man in Black for the next Matrix movie it should be Tim. Terribly efficient, Robinson still realized that sometimes work has to be put aside so that he can live a normal life with his family. His sister became a vampire which served as the true eye opener. Robinson never once used a vulgar Enlightened Science procedure, though his UV-cannon came close. An overall good character with a neat background.

Agent Vivian Pratt, New World Order Operative (Alex)

Agent Vivian Pratt was only in two games with the group but her contributions cannot be ignored. I  ran at least 5 one-on-one games with Alex. Pratt was the ultimate assassin and her loyalty to the New World Order and the Technocracy was absolute. So much so that she asked the other agents to terminate her when they uncovered evidence that she was once associated with Reality Deviants. Pratt made the X-5 Protector even more famous in the Union than it already was when she dished out 17 damage to a Black Spiral Dancer during Project Botanica with a Force-enhanced blast. She and Robinson tore through Amgen's security like a knife through warm butter in Project Amgen. She represented the destructive arm of the New World Order and was willing to do whatever it takes to stop Reality Deviants. Too bad she lacked the confidence to fight the corrupted inner genius in her. She chose death rather than life with uncertainty. Control felt that if 6+ months in Room 101 couldn't cure her or at least boost her will to eventually strike down her corrupted self than it would be best to terminate her. Pratt was a very deep character and it is sad that she chose death in the end.

Dr. Gäms Lindolf, Void Engineers Research and Execution (The Chris Smith)

Agent Lindolf wasn't the normal Void Engineer, heck, he wasn't even one of the ones who took the Big-Joke too far, he went beyond that. Lindolf went out of his way to make life difficult for the other agents.  Lindolf brought a lot of surprises to the table. His whacked out theories and bad attitude pushed many people to their limits, but he was a genius never the less. If he hadn't ventured into the Dream-realm to save Megan Goose, Jim probably would have let him rot in his own misery. The Lindolf Engine required me to write-up 2 pages worth of rules just for Chris. I really liked Lindolf and it was tough for me to see the Technocracy yank him out of the last game. Chris played true to his character and Lindolf continued to act like a rebel, but I had to play true to the Technocracy and have the agents object to his behavior. Still, Lindolf was a very memorable character and brought some dynamic energy to the team.
