The RPG Survival Guide

The RPG Survival Guide

Welcome, readers, to the RPG Survival Guide. For those of you who do not know, a Role-Playing Game (RPG) requires more than good hand-eye co-ordination. An RPG world is nothing like the ordinary world. There is where the problem arises.

Upon entering an RPG, most players suffer from Reality Withdrawal Syndrome (RWS) and subsequently either ended on the floor twitching and gurgling or adopted an incorrect vision of reality. A particularly serious case of the latter occurred a number of years back. After playing a certain RPG, many people suffered severe RWS and told everybody they knew that the world was square. Most notable was that they would always pronounce square with a capital "S", suggesting that not only did their RPG experience damage their sense of reality, but it also damaged their grammatical abilities.

To prevent such outbreaks from occurring in the future, the author has painstakingly researched the RPG world and have compiled this guide. It is the author's hope that the cautious gamer, having read the guide, will be able to make an easier transition from the reality to RPG, thus avoiding RWS.

For the sake of the reader's health, please, hold the words of this guide close to your heart.
