Over the years I have cut out and saved many comics that I have found and that had special meaning to me. Mostly they are about comics, school, parenthood or just plain funny.  I have a whole file in my file cabinate of clippings.  I have decided to spread out a little and include some of them on my page.  I wanted to make the images smaller, but in doing so it made some of the text hard to read, so I left the images large.

I just bought a big Dilbert book, and can't decide which 50 to put up here.  This one reminded me of my wife's office, so I took the liberty to change the names in the cartoon.

I have gotten into trouble many times for making comments like Luane and her mom are making here.  Of course, not recently.  I learned a long time ago to keep my mouth shut!

When I got to high school I found Heavy Metal and Iron Maiden was the first metal concert that I went to (Twisted Sister opened).  I love the poor bagger in the strip forced to listen to Muzak versions of "Powerslave" or "The Flight of Icarus."

I love the Far Side.  This is going to me and my kid in a few years.

Who else but Batman could tell off Superman!  This is fairly old, cut out from some tabloid paper.  Didn't Spidey's spider sence tell him he was in danger of loosing the hand?

Being a teacher, I feel like Calvin in this strip.  What can I say? What can't I say?

I love Calvin's dad.  I think we have a lot in commom in our fathering styles. You know, have a little fun with them.  They ask so many questions, you just have to BS some of the time.  I LOVE the one where Calvin asks his dad about "why are all the old pictures in black and white?"  I need to get my hands on that one.

I have had students that cards less about their studies, but never any who have the wit that Calvin possesses.
