"City of Angels," about the world of filmmaking, contained a film within the play, consisting of one long tracking shot through the "rough part of town." Our hero walked in front of the back-projected film, as if in it, searching for the missing girl.
A model city was designed, built and filmed in stop motion. The speed of the shot had to match the beat of the live music.
