The Golden Hammer is situated in the dwavern quarter of the town, it is famous for being the loudest and liveliest tavern in town.
The town’s dwarf, gnome and halfling population originally only used it, but when the ownership passed to the present landlord, Frastra Haggins, a halfling, he sought to widen it’s appeal. By increasing the ceiling clearance and enlarging the doors he was able to attract the younger members of the human majority.
So now every night the place echoes to music, laughter and as the evening progresses augments and fights.
As you would expect from a halfling the food is excellent. The beer is strong and cheap.
The tavern has a common room where the customers can sleep the drink of for 10cf.
