The Militia guard post is the second most important building within the town. Like the magistrates building it is a civic building and is occupied by Imperial civil servants as well as the Militia.
It is in reality a small castle, built when the town was first settled to provide protection for the settlers. The town has now grown up around it and it would no longer big enough to protect all the citizens. Therefore it has become the home to many imperial civil service departments.
The Militia guard post consists of a gatehouse and four corner towers linked by a curtain wall. In the middle of the back wall opposite the gatehouse sits the Keep.
The Guard post occupies about 250sqft with each tower being about 30sqft and the gatehouse and keep each being about 50sqft.
