THE
Guildmasters OF DARK MISTS
Not everyone
has what it takes to be a guildmaster. Only heroes may apply for
the position, but they cannot be just any heroes. These heroes
must have mastered every skill and/or spell which they had
learned from their own guildmasters. They must also be capable of
judging fairly those in their guild, for they have the power to
toss someone out of the guild. On the positive side, they can
also aid one in learning new skills and spells, even as those
guildmasters assigned to remain in the city guilds can do. They
can therefore teach new skills and spells in the field, being
more mobile, and those young folk who are out adventuring who
would find the return to town a burden can call upon their
guildmaster to aid them in learning where they are gaining their
life's experiences..
The Golden Dragon in Ofcol interviews the
heroes who would be guildmasters and judges them according to
their abilities and beliefs. Those who think they can withstand
the grilling should send their applications to the heavens, for
the Ancient Gold Dragon of Ofcol picks up his scrolls there.
Address such scrolls to Immortal. The messengers are usually
afraid to approach the Ancient Gold Dragon themselves for fear
that he might mistake them for live food.
Those who have survived the Golden Dragon's scrutiny and serve as
Guildmasters:

Xynthra, Guildmaster of Channelers (deceased)
