MILITARY RECORD

In 1st battle near Smolensk destroyed 1 enemy tank and was heavy injured. Awarded Red Star and was promoted to master sergeant.

In 1942 returned back to the front and fought as deputy commander. Sometime was in intelligence recon unit as commander. Killed 8 germs by knife and own teeth. Was awarded «For courage» medal.

 
   In 1943 near Kursk was promoted to 1st sergeant and got his own Combat engineer’s squad.
