QSO TOTALI ...24320..:16200 SSB - 8120 CW. In 40 metri SSB sono stati fatti in 3 giorni ben 100 QSO con gli USA....
Il giorno 14 - 16 qso
Il giorno 15 - 31 qso
il giorno 18 - 53 qso
La ZONA 23 è difficilissima per gli USA in 40 metri SSB in quanto la propagazione dura pochi minuti, i segnali sono molto bassi e le antenne vanno messe verso il polo Nord. Nella storia della radio poche sono le stazioni americane che vantano QSO con la Mongolia in SSB 40 metri, ora ce ne sono 100 in più. Sono soddisfattissimo del risultato, anzi, anche di più. Nel 1998 furono fatti 14000 QSO, quest'anno 10000 di più. I radioamatori mongoli hanno svolto un lavoro straordinario cosi come straordinario è stato il lavoro in cw di I1QOD  - ALBERTO e di I1ZB che mi onoro annoverare tra le mie amicizie, hanno effettuato 5000 contatti in CW con competenza e precisione e sono entrati in pieno nello spirito di una DX-pedition, spero di riaverli in una futura avventura.

Total QSO Number ...24.320... :16.200 SSB - 8.120 CW. In 40 m. SSB we made 100 QSO with USA in 3 days:
The 14th: 16 QSO
The 15th: 31 QSO
The 18th: 53 QSO
Zone 23 is very difficult for USA in 40 m. SSB because propagation lasts very few minutes, signals are really wake and antennas must be aimed to the north pole. Few are USA stations that have made QSO with Mongolia in 40 meters SSB and I'm proud to say that now there are 100 more. I'm really very proud of our results. In 1998 total QSO were 14.000, this year we scored 10.000 more than the previous year. Mongolians hams have done an excellent work such as excellent was the contribution in cw of I1QOD Alberto and I1ZB and I'm proud to have such people as my friends: they made 5.000 qso in cw with competence and precision ant they fully joined the DXpedition mood, I really hope to have them as members of my next adventures.

PROPAGAZIONE VARIABILE CON APERTURE IN 10 E 28 E 18MHZ.  DUE AMPLIFICATORI QRT SPERIAMO DI POTERLI AGGIUSTARE CON L`AIUTO DI JT1AS SANK. QSO 1200 SSB E 350 CW.  IL TEMPO AL CONTRARIO DI IERI, CHE NEVICAVA ED ERA MOLTO FREDDO, E` TORNATO BELLISSIMO.
Propagation is quite variable with opening in 10 and 28 Mhz. Two power amplifiers in QRT, we hope to repair them with JT1AS Sank's help. QSO 1200 SSB and 350 CW. The weather dispite of yesterday that was very cold with snow, is now very good.

PROPAGAZIONE APERTA IN 28-E 18 E FINALMENTE IN 10 MHZ CW E CON DIVERSI QSO ANCHE IN 24 MHZ SSB.  TOTALE AL 10-4-1999 1150 QSO SSB 600 QSO CW. OGGI 10 APRILE STA NEVICANDO ABBONDANTEMENTE E LO SECNARIO E STUPENTO.
Propagation good in 28 and 18 and finally in 10 Mhz. Some QSO in 24 Mhz SSB also. Totals at 10-4-1999 1150 QSO SSB and 600 CW. Today 10th of April it's snowing and the scene is gorgeous.

TUTTO PROSEGUE BENE IL TEMPO E BELLISSIMO DURANTE  IL GIORNO, LA SERA ABBIAMO GRADI SOTTO ZERO.
PARTE OPERATIVA:  2   STAZIONI  SIMULTANEE UNA SSB ED UNA CW.  ANTENNE: 4 ELEMENTI YAGI,
 2 ANTENNE VERT ICALI  R 7; APPARATI IN SSB TS 440 S  TS 140 S  IC 731, APPARATO PER CW FT 847,
AMPLIFICATORI KENWOOD  TL 922, AMERITRON AL 811.
QSO TOTALI ALLE 10 LOCALI DEL 7-4-1999 N:   2400. FREQUENZE LAVORATE: 28-21-14-18-7-MH Z.
PROPOGAZIONE NON BUONA -ANCHE QUESTA NOTTE LA CORRENTE ELETTRICA CI HA LASCIATO PER 5 ORE. QRM MEDIO-ELEVATO. BUONA APERTURA IN 18 MH Z.
Everithing is going well, the weather is good during the day, temperature is -2 C in the night.
Operatins: 2 stations operating at the same time CW and SSB. Antennas: 4 el. yagi, 2 vertical R7; Rigs for SSB: TS440S, TS140S, IC731. Rig for CW: FT 847. Power aplifiers: Kenwood TL922, Ameritron AL 811.
Total QSO at 10 Local time 7th april 1999 n: 2400. Operations in 28-21-14-18-7-Mhz. Propagation not good. Also this nigth electric power went off for 5 hours. QRM is strong. Propagation is good in 18 Mhz.

Il tempo e freddo ma gli amici Mongoli molto ospitali.
Propagazione che fa pena problemi grossi agli amplificatori il TL922 tira fuori quando va 800w, l'altro  400w ora montiamo una stazione in cw. La corrente questa notte (giorno 6) e'andata via per  6 ore..... ...!
QSO alle ore 02.00 GMT (07.04.99) 800, ma poche ore di attivita'con una sola stazione.
Weter quite cold but our friens are very kind.
Propagation quite poor, big problems with the TL922 because only 800W output, the other amplifier with 400w will be used in the second station cw. Electric power off for 6 hours this night (the 6th)!
QSO number at 02.00 GNT (07.04.99) 800, but this is due to the single station operating.

SIAMO ARRIVATI CON UN VIAGGIO BELLISSIMO-ACCOGLIENZA OTTIMA IN QUESTO MOMENTO STIAMO OPERANDO  21 MHZ CW- QUALCHE PROBLEMA COME L'ALTRO ANNO CON TX-RX E ANTENNE
We are arrived and we had a very pleasant trip and warm greatings from our friends . We are now operating 21 Mhz CW. We have some minor problems to rigs and antennas as last year.

Due to technical problems we wont be able to publish logs until the DXpedition will finish but anyway you will find here "from the field" feedback quite often.
