What are the books in the orphanage for?

I've quite forgotten which kid exactly gave me the books, but just try these steps out. The first time you get to Billy's orphanage, go into the kids main bedroom with the two double deck beds. Talk to the kid on the top bed on the right. He'll ask you to read him a story. Read it to him, and he'll give you a book(I think so… if not, try this: In the dining hall, climb the ladder and you'll see a kid up there. Talk to him, tell him you won't tell Billy he's eating candies, and he'll give you something.) The second book can be acquired from the room adjacent to the main kids bedroom. You have to have Rico in your party. If you see Primera in the room, you're on the right track. Talk to the other kid in this room, and you'll find out he's Redram's son. Rico's gonna give him the bell, and you'll get another book. Now go back to the kids' room. Search the door opposite the one you came out of. The kid inside says 'Toilet taken'. Now enter Billy's room, and search the bookcase. There'll be some scenes.
The next time possible you can take the Yggdrasil, go back to the Orphanage. Bring Billy with you. Go back to Billy's room and search the bookcase. They will say something. Go back to the kids' room and search the door to the toilet. The kid inside should come out and give you the last book you'll need. Go inside the toilet and search the toilet bowl. After the scene, go back into Billy's room and search the bookcase again. This time, you'll be able to open the bookcase using the three books. You're gonna get Billy's B&JM686 gun which adds 30 to Billy's attack.
