Harvest Moon for Game Boy Color is the follow up of Harvest Moon for Game Boy. Including the new colorful look Harvest Moon for GBC also has new features. Some of things you are able to do with this version are that you can choose to be a boy or girl, you are able to pick a type of pet, you can play all year around with a larger amount of crops than the Super Nintendo version, and you can exchange items and livestock with Game Boy Game Link. A new feature is that when you stop playing the game and shut it off the game keeps playing! While you are gone your Harvest Spirits will take over your farm if you are nice to them. One disadvantage is that you can not get married or date in this game. This version is almost the same as the Game Boy version except for a few features and how it is now in color. This game’s plot is that you take over a farm you receive and you try to make it prosperous. You will try to make your farm prosperous by making lots of money, fixing up your farm, and improving your house. You will need to take care of your crops by planting and watering them. When you get the money and have enough grass you can get cows and chickens. You also will have to make trips to the nearby town to buy things and you can stop by the church to get your fortune told or pray. There are also underground caverns where Harvest Sprites live and where a spring is for you to regain energy. If you don't have Game Boy Color and don't want to buy one than there is a Game Boy version, Super Nintendo version, and even a Nintendo 64 version. |
