Harvest Moon for Game Boy is the second of the Harvest Moon series. This game’s plot is that you take over a farm you receive and you try to make it prosperous. This version has many new features compared the Super Nintendo version. Some of the new features are that you get to be a boy or girl, you get to choose between having a cat or dog, you can plant all year around with a larger variety of crops than the Super Nintendo version, and you can exchange items and livestock with the game boy link. One disadvantage from the Super Nintendo version is that you can not get married or date.
You will go through time trying to make your farm prosperous by making lots of money, fixing up your farm, and improving your house. You will need to take care of your crops by planting and watering them. When you get the money and have enough grass you can get cows and chickens. You also will have to make trips to the nearby town to buy things and you can stop by the church to get your fortune told or pray. There are also underground caverns where Harvest Sprites live and they will help you out if you are nice to them. This version is almost the same as the Game Boy Color version except for the GBC version has a few new features and it is in color.
