Here we are on a trip home to Chicago in 2002. You can see Emily, Ben and me with my brother David with his daughters Brooke and Peyton. That's the Sears Tower behind us. The other shots are us by Lake Michigan just past the Shedd Aquarium. |

Above is from our trip to Carowinds, the amusement park on the North-South Carolina border (in fact one roller coast starts in one state and whips through another). We are standing before the Star Trek themed Borg Assimilator ride: A lie down roller coaster! |

And here we are beneath the Top Gun roller coaster. This was the year Ben was tall enough to ride it and he LOVED it. Three more times! Like his uncles and his daddy, he feels roller coasters are the only point of going to amusement parks. |
