Avian Art
I started to draw birds when I was in college, and immediately found them both very beautiful and challenging. After falling in love with African Greys I started to draw them again. Parrots are whimsical to draw, their eyes seem to sparkle right there on the paper. All my work is done on illustration board with pencil and colored pencil. I do custom portraits as well and donate part of the proceeds to The Grey PoopOn Challenge to stop PDD. Please email me for details.
This is a drawing of a Timneh African Grey that I did for Bobbi Brinker. It was a gift for her and it hangs on the wall in her bird room.
I did this drawing for The Grey PoopOn Challenge in 1999. T-Shirts are still available by going to their website.
This is a drawing of a pair of Caiques that I did in colored pencil as a prize for The Grey PoopOn Challenge 2000. I have now become an annual prize donor. For more on The Grey PoopOn Challene, please see my "Links" page.

I am currently working on a drawing of a cockatiel for an online auction for the Mickaboo Cocatiel Rescue, a bird rescue organization in California. I will add that photo to my website when it's completed.
