Week 5 Project Milestone
- Have done your effort estimation: cost effort & duration (Part One Completed)
- Prepare cost justification on your project
- Prepare risk treatment and mitigation plan for your project risks (risk analysis report)
- Review your project quality requirement
- Plan for reducing your project timescale (individual)
- Draft your quality plan (individual)
- Refine your detailed project plan (individual)

Week 6 Project Milestone
- Refine your project schedule according to your progress
- Performing your project risk analysis and assessment
- Preparing Quality Plan
- Define your baseline product (that will be delivered on 25.Nov.2008 for sure)
Week 7 Project Milestone
- Complete your Effort Estimation and FPA (Part 1)
- Finalizing your Risk Analysis Document (Part 2)
- Grap enough information for the presentation.
- Identify your deliverables.
- Prepare you Project Control activities.
- Revise Project Plan according to Part 3's requirement to meet the timescale.

Week 8 Project Milestone
- By this week, the 2nd major milestone, your assignment Part 2 is due
and you should complete Part 1 and Part 2;
Otherwise, you should know the variance between your planned completion and actual completion.
Devise your action plan to cope with your schedule slippage, if so;
- Before finanlizing your group report, you are recommended to conduct project review either internal review within your team or consult your lecturer.
The remaining tasks by this time should be compiling and printing the group report Part 1 and Part 2.
Starting from this week you should focus on your individual report:
Confirm your deliverables for part 3
- Decide your project control strategy to meet the timescale requirement
- Devise your quality assurance plan (very briefly)
- Write-up you quality control activities.
- Preparing your individual Project Plan for Part 3
About your coursework assignment

Presentation
- will be held on the 10th Lecture i.e. 21 & 25 November, 2008. Details will be annouced as soon as possible.
- You must understand the penalties of PLAGIARISM and LATE SUBMISSION as prescribed in the coursework outline.
Project Review
- will be held on the 8th (Nov 7 & 11) and 9th Lectures (Nov 14 & 18). Project group members can gather their draft project documents for progress meeting, quality review and inspection on the second-halves of the two lectures. Alternatively, you may conduct your own progess meeting and reviews.
Deliverables
EACH group member is required to hand-in both HARD COPY and SOFT COPY for ALL of the following parts.
(1) Assignment Cover;
(2) Group: Part One, Part Two (Word document) and Group Presentation Slide (Powerpoint file);
(3) Individual: Part Three.
Remarks
- Check with the service counter for your Examination Time Table. Check with your IVC account "Subject > Exam Corner > Yes > Exam Time Table > OBU"
- All students should register the exam. no later than the 4th lecture of each module.
- Assessment weighing 100% by coursework and no paper examination is requied.
- Please form your own group in 3-4 and arrange your project meetings to review your progress.
