Opportunities
Sunday Morning and Tuesday Evening Adult Bible Classes
The Adult Education at Timothy is based on the various levels of faith development in the life of a disciple. We use three classifications:
Disciple Essentials: New Member focused or those who are relatively young in their faith walk,
Daily Walk: Those who are looking for lifestyle application of God's Word,
Deeper Striving: Members who are seriously into the Word and are active in their faith walk.
Disciple Essentials:
"Divine Drama - the Biblical Narrative" - A look at God's Word and how the focus claerly points to the Servant Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Daily Walk:
"Journey Through The Bible" - A discussion based on weekly readings of the congregations two-year walk through the Bible.
Deeper Striving:
"Christ Fulfilled" - See how all of Scripture is connected to the story of Christ: past, present and future.
Small Group Studies
Building Up the Body of Christ
At Timothy, there are a number of Bible studies that meet that consist of groups of 8-10 people. In these groups, there is a greater opportunity not only to share in the discussion on the Biblical topic, but also to care for the personal needs and concerns of one another. In these gatherings, there is time set aside for Bible study and discussions, prayer, fellowship and personal care.
