The Paleozoic and Mesozoic rocks are exposed in the southwestern part of Libya as outcrops.

To fallow these geological sequences of stratigraphic and sedimentalogical depositions which give an idea about the most important characteristic of geological formations.

For that the company can organize the geological trips to the southwestern area (GHAT – ALAWINAT).

1ST  DAY: 

CAMBRO – ORDIVICIAN SECTION.

2ND DAY: 

SILURIAN SECTION

Tanezzuft formation.              (L. Siliurian).         Akakus formation.              (U. Siliurian).

3RD DAY: 

DEVONIAN SECTION

Tadrart formation.                                           Ouan kasa formation.                                           Visit Prehostrical painting area.

 4TH DAY: 

CARBONIFEROUS SECTION.

Mrar formation.              (L. Carboniferous)  Assedjefar formation.                                Dembaba formation.

POST CARBONIFEROUS SECTION.

Tiguentourine formation.

5th Day: 

TRIASSIC SECTION

Zarazaitine formation.                               Taouratine formation.

6th DAY:

Massak formation.       (U. jurassic)                 Ubari & Jarma beds.           (L. cretaceous)

7th DAY:

TERTIRAY AND QUATERNARY SECTIONS. 

La Custine Deposit.                                          Eolian Deposit.                                                 Saline Lakes.
