Prehistoric Gardens
Prehistoric Gardens is half way between Port Orford and Gold Beach on the Oregon Coast. It consists of a series of prehistoric animals and informational placards spread along a path through a temperate rain forest. The animals were sculpted by E.V. Nelson of concrete around a steel and lath frame beginning in 1953.
