| My Life Now... As most of you know I no longer do active fire-fighting due to medical reasons. However...I am a 100% supporter still of my fellow firefighters/emts/law enforcement friends and family. My life now consists of a wonderful husband, 1 dawg and 2 cats and we are one BIG happy family. I fish more than I used to and I'm busier than before...but I AM happy. My life is complete now since meeting my husband. But even tho' I have him... my life has always.... and will always have room for my friends. My friends are VERY important to me and I know that without them in my life I am missing something. Yes the old saying blood is thicker than water holds true...but also...lovers and family come and go...but a friendship lasts a lifetime. Yes I'm still the same person I was when this page was created a few years back. I am still an old fashioned, southern born and bred country gurl who still believes in courting, walking in the rain, picking a flower from the field instead of buying a whole bouquet because the thought IS what really counts....and too many other things to mention. I am forever thankful for each and everyone of the people whose paths I come across. Whether it be telephone, internet or personal...y'all are still important to me. For those of you who I am still in contact with I hope that each day is a special one and that a smile is on your face sometime during the day...and for those of you whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting...well just remember...someday whether here on earth or in heaven we will come face to face.
