I Am English

I prefer to be known as British, I don't live in London, which is not the name of my country I have never worn a bowler hat and i don't speak "Queens" English. My country is not quaint, but historical. It doesn't rain everyday, and i enjoy driving on the left side of the road. My flag is not the union flag but the flag of St. George. I prefer not to be known as European, and feel our nature allies to be on the North American Continent And contrary to believe I am fiercely proud of my heritage. I am not in favor of a constitutional monarchy But am happy to go with the will of the majority. I am not a foxhunter and I do notlive in a castle. We are the inventevs or real football, not soccer. A cup of tea is not my preference and I don't eat fish and chips everyday. I say tomato not tomateo, garage not garrrage. I spell flavor not flavour and doughnut not donut. I believe in freedom not dictatorship. I believe in world unity, harmony and tolerance, not hatred and suspicions. England is the first country of modern democracy.
