Our Engagement
The Story of Our Engagement
as Told in The Red Book
(by Michael Greeley)

The Castle of Grey Meadows was filled nearly to the rafters with the partygoers and revelers.

A hush fell upon the crowd. The Red Prince did escort the Priestess Tina, Woman of Intrigue to the center of festivities. In a regal procession, the Star of David, clad in his Cloak of Silver Might did greet the Priestess Tina. She exclaimed in wonder at his new and fine attire, yet the Star of David had yet another surprise up his silver lined sleeves. Upon one knee the brilliant Star of David bent. From deep within his Cloak of Silver Might, the Star of David did draw a shining and brilliant gem that were mounted to a ring of gold. With all glory and honor, the Star of David asked the Priestess Tina to forever be his, to have and to hold as his wife. The Priestess Tina exclaimed her delight, assuring the Star of David of her forever love. Humor caught hold of the Star of David, whence he told the Woman of Intrigue he had not yet heard her answer with a resounding huzzah. The Priestess Tina then reassured her immortal man that huzzah was indeed in her heart, and many fine huzzahs resounded throughout the Castle of Grey Meadows. Many fine and tasty kisses did the Priestess Tina share with her Star of David.

The Immortals and Nobility of Mt. Olympus roared their approval and many backs were slapped and warm embraces given. Nectar of the Gods was pulled out for all to enjoy a toast to the newly engaged immortals. The Red Prince did raise his cup to his Wondrous and Mighty Blood Friend, the Star of David. The Red Prince did raise his cup to the Elegant Woman of Intrigue, the Priestess Tina. All the joys of happiness of life he wished them. Among such a throng of power and might, two great immortals had professed their love.
