It all began when Mr. Park gave Ted and I a random call, asking if we'd like to go to Mexico to do some work in Missions. Eventually the two of us agreed to represent Columbus KUMC with him and two others (Mr. Kim and his son, Jon) and serve as Spanish translators during the trip. We traveled with about 50 Koreans from the DC Korean United Methodist Church to Valladolid, Mexico and stayed there for about a week working in different ministries (including VBS, hair-cutting, evangelism, medicine, dentistry, etc). Anyhowz...below are a few pictures Mr. Park developed and gave to us for which I am very thankful (since all my pics were ruined-darn that DC dunking tradition!!-heheh). I'm glad to say that this trip was an awesome experience and has truly broadened my perspective on many things in life. |
