A little about me...
Name: Tina Yanghee Son

Birthdate: 06/15/81

Hometown: Columbus, Ohio

College: Junior at the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!)

Major: CMB (guess what THAT stands for;)

My wonderful roommates: Erlene Kuizon, Krista Nielson, Melanie
Poopat, and Susan Reading (a.k.a. fluffy redhead)

Family: There's nothing better than having a wonderfully bizarre family. My
Dad, whose perseverance and confidence in literally everything he does-
along with his strange
obsession with frozen pepperoni links-never ceases
to amaze me; my Mom, whose patience and strong faith in God has always
been a beacon in my life (on second thought, she's the only normal one in
our family); last but not least, my 18-year-old younger bro, Ted (currently a freshman at our rival school, OSU), who has built up my tolerance for all annoying people in the world with his unbearable dances, high-pitched squealing, and frightening obsession with Metal Gear's Solid Snake (if you don't know what I'm talking about, find out
here).  I say this because I have never known or even met anyone as annoying as him. I hope you're proud of yourself, you deviant XP

Favorite Animal: Ok, if you know me, then you'll probably know that I have
this healthy obsession with squirrels (this might be somewhat apparent
from the background;). I actually used to chase these bushy-tailed rodents around campus (the Diag is squirrel headquarters babieeee!!!), but soon discontinued this dangerous activity as I nearly squashed flat an over-
zealous (or should I say STUPID) squirrel that eagerly ran
towards me
instead of scurrying away.

Hobbies: Church, reading, writing, playing the piano, singing, chattin' on
AIM (hellokiti9, teentz44, look me up!) sketching/art, playing video games, chillin' with my family and friends...oh yeah, I've also developed a recent obsession with Hwa-tu (Korean card game), most addictive game EVER.

Video games: (believe it or not, I AM making this a category XP) Final
Fantasy (BEST EVER), Metal Gear Solid, Legend of Zelda, Mariokart on
SNES and N64, Bust a Groove, Parappa the Rappa, Tetris, anything on Playstation 1 or 2!!!

Movies: Goonies, Star Wars Trilogy, Spaceballs, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Saving Private Ryan, Shreck, Silence of the Lambs, Meet the
Parents, Top Gun, Moulin Rouge, Ranma 1/2 (which is technically not a movie...ah, who cares :)

Favorite Actors: John Cusack, Tom Hanks, Ewan MacGregor (sssss---hunhhhh!!-lol), Julia Roberts, Antonio Banderas, Matthew Perry. This
list will probably grow longer as time goes on.

I like to consider myself athletic...in the sports I'm good at-lol.  I love playing tennis, badminton, and killing my good friend Binno in ping-pong (I'm not
doing a sufficient job of 'killing' at the moment, however, because he's miraculously up by two in the 48 games we've played so far XP). Yeah, I'm basically partial to any sport that involves a net (except volleyball-I am HORRIBLE at that game and wish it would die). Occassionally I like to run, even though it's difficult and painful at times.  Although it did help me lose 20 pounds during freshman year. Which is also why I never look at my pictures from freshman year anymore because all I see is this hideous blob of insecurity.  Holy Jeebus, was I FAT. ;)

Books: Reading is GOOOOOD. Memoirs of a Geisha, Summer Sisters, Catcher
in the Rye, and Lord of the Rings (the first book at least-I'm far from workin' on the next 2-heh) are among some of my favorite books. Of course, I can't forget the wonderfully trashy Sweet Valley High series that accompanied me through my early adolescent years.

Music: just about everything though I am pretty big on classical, especially Chopin (I'm a dork, sue me!)

Pet peeves/dislikes: My brother (LOL), listening to all the guys at Columbus KUMC exploit the 'ger' language, black-bean ANYTHING, gloating, gossiping, when people try to convince me that Ranma isn't real (and that I can't marry him-hehe), being randomly tripped in public (SUSAN), and people who tell
me I look like a cute little panda bear when I most certainly do NOT (SUSAN AGAIN).
