I love pansies. I don't know why they are considered a symbol of weakness, as in "Don't be a pansy," or "He is such a pansy!" Pansies are actually some of the hardiest flower there are! They bloom during most of the year, except for the harshest part of winter!



They have such funny faces, too. Maybe their strength is rooted in a good sense of humor. The sure make me smile.



This pansy was "mouse drawn" and layered with various colors and textures using my MicroSoft PictureIt program.
