Errachidia the Invitation

Errachidia is one of the most important touristy regions in Morocco. It is a tableau or card of invitation. Everything in it says “WELCOME!” It is totally beautiful and inviting in its different features.

It is situated in the south-east of the country and it’s among the most beautiful sites of the world thanks to the diversity of its natural features and the tolerance, the hospitability, the generosity and the friendliness that characterize the inhabitants of the region. It is also due to the richness of its culture, folklore and historical monuments as well as the special architectural designs of the old castles, houses, ksars and kasbas. Everything is special in Errachidia province. The weather, the geography, the people, and the clothes they put on depending on seasons and social and religious occasions, the food they cook for guests (Tajin and shish-kebab) and the one they eat for everyday meals (dates and milk).

The marvels of the region are legendary and unlimited. They send you back to the Arab Nights. It is almost impossible to talk about those extraordinary characteristics in words. You have to come and experience everything by yourself. The people of Errachidia benefit from a good reputation they won throughout generations. They are known by their generosity, hospitability and kind-heartedness.

You are welcome whoever you are and whenever you choose to come. If you are a townie you can, at least, rediscover the twinkling stars of the serenity of the night sky. It is really beautiful and touching to hear it is whispering “WELCOME!”
